Looks like a great budget friendly kit for sure. The only place I could see that possibly needs looking at is the merge/wastegate configuration. A nice Y pipe going from 2.5" dual to 3" single leg back to the turbo would straighten out the flow + reduce backpressure. That may be why you couldn't push past the roughly 510hp mark. Otherwise, bang up job on coming up with a budget friendly kit for our cars.
That and that charge pipe getting a hole in it even on a stock height car let alone a lowered one.
oh 100% But it being budget minded that would just add cost. If someone did that to their kit after purchase it would just help them make more power!
Charge pipe hasnt touched on either of these cars. And its very thick so its fine even if it does. more like a fence pole vs a normal intercooler pipe.
Dual 2.5 into single 3 would be slightly chokey. Single 3.5 flows the same overall volume as dual 2.5

What kind of power can the 3.7 engine and both auto and manual trans handle safely? Been debating getting one of these but don't know much about the v6
600 ish is about the limit for the 3.7
Also rubber lines that could get caught on anything and rupture

Nope.
400 hp on pump gas to the rears on a 100*+ day… ain’t nothing wrong with those numbers!

I'm assuming you should just never go over a speed bump again unless you want a quick delete turbo. Good thing the roads where I live are basically like traversing the moon.
We have huge speed bumps and they don't hit the rear
With a low mount turbo what do you do sincd the waste gate could potentially hit a water puddle
1. The WG isn't going to hit a puddle unless you submerge the car in water.
2. Nothing happens it gets a little water meth style cooling.

With this turbo kit and ported intake plus a bbk throttle body and a CAI and some bbk headers what we looking at horsepower wise

I'm assuming the price increased since release since its not under 3k as people say? Regular price at 4k and "sale" for $3,500, still cheaper than other kits but only $1,000 to $1,500 from your non-budget kit is not too much of a difference considering all the other things you get for your single turbo kit. Joining on this conversation very late though obviously so I could be missing something
Yes the kits are now $3500.00 and our engine bay 3.7 tuner kits are now going for $5,000.00. Both are tuner kits. So no tune, no fuel system, etc the low mount kit does come with the oil system though too.

Nothing is legal in CA. But this does not mess with anything pre catalytic converter so it's like bolting on a catback exhaust legal wise

I have a 2015 3.7 S550, I’ve been pricing your Turbo Kit for months but this seems pretty good for my car. I have a few mods Roush CAI,Off-road H Pipe, and Catless Borla Ataks. I just recently put a fresh 3.7 in there the motor only has about 13k came with 128miles on it when i bought it, granted I have not retuned since installing. I’m willing to travel the distance as I’m located in Georgia for you all to put hands on my car please let me know the best way to discuss how I should move forward.

i have a v6 4.0 2006 mustang with 183k miles would a tune be a good idea if i want to keep it as a daily and drive it for another year ? just wanted to get a little bit more power in it and have some fun with it

Looking at 450whp. How much of a difference can I expect the 0-60, 1/4, 40 mph roll and etc. to be with the low mount turbo lag vs the engine bay one?
There is a difference in spool time but not that much, maybe 1000 rpm. Both are quite fast and at 450 rwhp either one works great

0-60 is some car and driver stuff. But it's about 2-3 times faster then stock. I think the fastest I've heard of is an 11.8 with the low mount kit on a street car
@@automafiaracing it is, I just like to use it to see my improvement over stock. Ive gotten 4.9 nearly fbo in my 3.7. stock I was hitting around 5.5
its super not accurate and has more to do with traction then anything else.

Only downside for me is my car is on lowering springs, I can already see that charge pipe in my car get mangled in a week or less lol, Tempting though!! Sound good too.

What power would we get with e85 and 87 gas?
And is e85 harmful to the engine on a 2013 v6?
We don't recommend 87 on a boosted car. E85 is the best and would be 500+ easily

An option? No. Can it be done? Yes.
Would rain hurt the turbo ?
Nope. To hurt it you would need to completely submerge it
Just a random thought but what if someone wanted to run this turbo as is right now but later convert it to a top mount without buying an entirely new kit, would that be possible?
No it uses a stock exhaust and connects the turbo at the rear of the exhaust
It wont convert. It shares the intercooler is really all.
My 2013 is lowered 1.75in front and 2.25 rear. You think it will have a clearance issue for the low mount set up?
It will be pretty low
506 rear wheel horsepower should be at least 600 hp at the crank I would think when you factor in the parasitic loss back in the days of carbureted three-speed automatic would eat up at least 100 horsepower between the crank and the rear wheels multi-gear overdrive automatics or even more parasitic so there should be at least 600 plus at the rear and more so torque as well great video and great build 💯👍👍

Couple questions, can I install this kit on my 2010 4.0? With the air cleaner in the rear behind the rear wheel, how dirty is it going to get especially here in Ohio in the winter with the road salt?

Yes they can for a time. The trans will really only start to go with heat which happens when using transbrake and drag launches. the diff will take it for basically ever.
