Oh wow this takes me back. Use to work downtown years ago and I remember well the maze of skyways. It's been ages since I have been down there again.

Great video and love the GoPro mounted views. I recently visited there after a long time away and noticed they nipped up Nicollett Mall. And Macy's where Daytons used to be.

Great video! Would you consider making a video about being a visually impaired mom? I'm not married and do not have kids, but I hope for both someday. One of the things that worries me, however, is how my vision would affect my ability to care for my children (e.g. not being able to see if they put something small in their mouths). I know that lots of visually impaired women have kids, and I think if I have more information, that would help with my fear about it. Just a suggestion! Thanks for making this channel!

+Deborah O'Malley also, if you use Facebook there are a number of blind parents groups! I am president of an alumni chapter of guide dogs for the Blind called Mommies with Guides as well--it's all parents, not just moms, but you would be welcome to like and follow that page as well!!

Awesome! I just clicked like on the Facebook page! :-D Here's one general question I have that you might be interested in addressing in your video: are there specific things you really need your husband or other family/friends to help with when it comes to childcare? I'm wondering how much I can expect to do on my own versus what other people will need to help me with (assuming, of course that I do have kids someday--I tend to get a little ahead of myself, but I think it's good to think through these things!).
Of course, in ANY family situation the duties should be shared, and spouses should want to help each other,, but I'm just wondering if that mutual assistance might look different when one spouse is visually impaired.
Thanks again for making these videos! They have been really helpful!

+Deborah O'Malley well, I do make him hang all the clothes because I absolutely HATE hanging and putting away clothes... weird. I know. 😂. I have put this in the video line up for the next week--I've been in California helping to lead a camp for blind youth who are interested in the guide dog lifestyle so I'm just getting back into it!!
