- Travelling as a photographer is a balancing act between the best and the lightest gear. I'm discussing what I consider to be the bare necessities for travel photography, along with a couple of sneaky purchases I made along the way!

What are your necessary items?
It is too hard to resist new gear if the opportunity comes up😀
@@mattisulanto it sure is!
leaving for Italy on Sunday, very interested to see what you pack on a trip.
@@andymueller82 Italy is incredible for photography. So many epic scenes! Definitely take a wide angle for those! I found loads of small details in the cities too - I’d suggest a lightweight zoom, if you have one, to save swapping lenses all the time: perhaps a 70-300.
No matter which region you visit, I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time.
@@petemellows Thank you for those suggestions! It will be a great trip!
We needed a second tighter shot of you on the bridge from the bridge. Keeping that whole line with you so far off started out nice but we should have seen you up closer sooner. Good stuff otherwise.
@@Bobbylopezcreative good point! It would have tied the beginning together more. Thanks for the advice and thanks for watching too.
