i know the feeling. If your A pillar is not structurally deformed, you should be able to kick the roof back into shape, replace mirrors, pull dent out of doors, and fit new windscreen.
@@swaction too much speed, low angle on that speed and perhaps the spring sagged, which led to braking of the front left wheel. I hope that this experience will help you draw right conclusions before drifting on public roads.
Not much visible damage consideting the flip. U have somekind of rollcage or anything? The roof took the impact quite good Good luck fixing it, and getting back drifting
@@martin1649 donno how it effected the whole chasis and frame overall, but sure not much visible issue, besides the windshield. That might be the most expensive part of the repairs.
@@martin1649 didnt say its off, just that if its only the visible, and nothing serious, then some "cosmetic surgery" and off we go go go. But unfortunately if s car flips like this, the suspension on the "flip's side", in this case the left gets quite a big stress sideways, so more than possible that there will be some work to get it in the right position (hope not tho, these older bmws can take lots of abuse 😁)
I put m50 temp sensor because it has 4pin connector (stock m54 temp sensor dosent work in e36). 2pins for ecu and 2pins for temp gauge in cluster but it doesn’t show temperature correctly
what he needed to do was simply throttle out of the drift when he started sliding off the road, if he didnt let off the gas he wouldve just spun or maybe even corrected the drift. also learn wheel speed! your pushing how fast 2nd gear can drift. this guy has a skill issue, should NOT be drifting like this on the street before he goes to the track and learns how to drive.
Nice work, mostly,❤. We all have a learning curve, and sometimes it’s the exam before the lesson..😂. Sounds like the tyres are rubbing against the arches, possibly upsetting the cars handling.
Sounds like something failed right before he spun out. Sounded like a grinding noise. Wonder If the drive shaft went out. Didn’t look like a driver error, he seemed very consistent on the steering input
Sounds nothing more like he went bit to understeery at the beginning then he tried to "drift it out" anyways so he kept too much of a momentum and too much of all four wheel slip for this corner that started to tighten up too much.
Motorsport is dangerous? Things go wrong quickly. Which is why you should stay off the public roads. Plenty of places you can go 'dick around' without endangering other innocent road users.

It happened in a split second and so unexpectedly. It seemed all fine and you had control until you suddenly didnt.
props for sending it! fix her up and get back to it 💪
Tbh thats the best possible outcome it couldnt have gone better in terms of roll over damage.

doesn't even look that bad after the flip

too much speed, i guess

You could've saved it if you had a hydro handbrake to slow down the entry (I think).

Karma for drifting in public during the day, you should never slide around while they are other cars around 😅
