Loving the off season content, feels like a behind the scenes Documentary
heck yeah!
I like the more daily content. Feels more genuine and the day to day life than just like a montage of the week if that makes sense
Got it! thank you!
Question! Whats the reasoning for shortening the dash? so you can get to wiring easier? In my Limited I kept a full dash. always saw yours being simplistic and wondered!
getting me super excited for the upcoming season
same here!
i absolutely love watching stuff like this. more, more
thanks man!
Rich is becoming a RUclips star
yes he is!
Thanks for uploading the rebuilding of race cars for this season
safety glasses Rich! you gave me the shivers
ye
Looking good Landon. Short videos or long, it don't matter, all are awesome man. Keep digging man, 2023 season is almost here bud 👍🏁👍🏁
Thanks Kevin!
2 videos rolled into one would be perfect. Not too long and not too short. 20 to 30 videos are just right. I know that I start losing interest with videos over 30 minutes.
Looks like you have some very knowledgeable help. You and I both know the value of good help. The guys that volunteer their time are the best. They are there because they want to be part of a race team. Love the shop videos.
I couldn’t do it without them!
Our body hanging consisted of cutting the roof off with a saws all then welding in a complete cage and welding the roof back on. That’s 30 years ago. Great content sir and RJ is the man.
hell yeah!
I'm ready for Hickory Motor Speedway 2023.
so are we!
looks good................anything is better than nothing
of course
Hey Landon, can you show the viewers some more detail in using the CLECO Fasteners! I’m a boat captain and looking for some “moon-head-information” regarding this piece of equipment and its use/importance. Thanks, Capt. JD
Yeah i can show them briefly in my next video!
Bring warm clothes to Daytona high Friday and Saturday 55
about like NC lately!
I just noticed do you guys have the Door & Front clip of Brandon Jones's Darlington Throwback to your dad win? That's pretty sweet.
we have the entire body almost!
Any content is good content. I do prefer 15-20 min vlogs. Keep em coming though!
thanks Michael!
Nice bud, very nice.
Whatever length vlog you serve up is fine by me, luvin the shop stuff. 😎🤘
Thanks Devs 🤘🏻
Baby getting some new threads...I like!!
yeeee
I like them
I still don't understand why everyone has gone away from dashes, and then they have to find ways and places to mount all the stuff that was traditionally on a dash. 🤷♂️
Also, wouldn't it be easier to just get Kaizen foam for the toolbox drawers? 🧐🤔
You remove all of the extra metal when taking out a dash, and all of the unneeded switches and wires. It’s a benefit. I only run 2 gauges, no tac
I use to bore a bunch of holes in a 2x4 for the pop-rivets and shoot 'em when I had paint in the gun for something else.
not a bad idea!
Keep it Landon. I love the fact u make it happen from second hand parts. Just goes to show u can that and still run up front and win ships homie. Love what ur doin
thanks man!
We appreciate the content and by the way Landon, the car is coming along great!
thanks man!!
How come you guys don't run dashboards anymore?
unneeded weight!
Are you racing wake county speedway?
I plan on racing at Wake some in 2023! I don’t know what capacity yet though
Content is great ! keeps me interested don't change anything
thanks for watching!
Perfect length video, enough to keep up wanting more 🤩
bingo!
I noticed the name on the greenhouse. Any relation to Dale Jr.?
No sir I bought the greenhouse used from someone else!
Looks like your on your way , charge on .
doing our best!
content is content just stay consistent bro
will do!
Film what you can my friend, I for one love them all .
thanks Paul!
Dang. Looks like a lot of work to do. Best of Luck this season 👍 🇺🇸🙏
moving right along! Thanks Charles!
These types of vlogs are really cool.
Thanks man! I’ll keep them coming!
did you know one of your dads race cars is at the Toyota HQ?
I did! He restored it for them in 2005!
Wish the video was longer
some will be!
Landon you have to remember to install a chassis ground outside of your ground off the battery. Because just like your road car you need one for the MSD still ignition, starter, and alternator. Much like you have to do with the LED lit gauges.
(So two chassis grounds to the block, one to the head. Which eyelet on both sides of a standard battery cable will work.)
That should go along ways from not having a problem in the electric system, much like a distributor that stops working or a starter not working at the worst possible time.
Any more shop restore?
made big progress on the shop yesterday! will document in my next video!
Making progress
trying!
Enjoy looking good.
thank you!
Awesome I like it
thanks man!
Yes, please. Keep the vids rollin"!!
i’ll do it!
Thanks Landon. You do a great job explaining what has to happen before you can even GO racing. Most of us don't know this!! Love your Podcast too--James
We have frances frankie Whats next fred?
Fido
@@LandonHuffmanRacing Ha! thats a good one
Great vids
thank you!
You guys need to get some safety glasses
Ronnie I have safety glasses on everytime im operating an air tool lol
He can work in his shop butt naked if he wanted and you would have no say in the matter.
Good Job.
thanks man
For shop videos, I enjoy the quick edits and a shorter video. These have been both entertaining and informative. Thanks for taking us along!
Okay cool thanks for tuning in!
Your videos are just right. Feels like I'm in the shop again.
thanks Greg!
Frances is really starting to look good! I know it'll be a hell of a race car! I'm a true fan and I know you guys will be aewsome this year!
I sure hope so! Thank you for the support!
Great videos just a suggestion for you all. Use double sided sticky tape like automotive body trim tape to mount the dividers in your box instead of drilling and rivets
I’ll look into that!
Love the off season content shows everyone you do it your self. The off season working with the guys is almost as fun as racing. Before you drill to many holes in your tool box check out tool box widget I'm waiting on my second order I love them
sweet i’ll check them out!
Hi from Puerto Rico love the content teach me about the work you guys do to get ready to race
we will try our best!
Looks good, reminds me of the Trans Am series cars these days.
late model stocks are better!
I'm anxious to see how these cars compare to each other on track I bet both cars will be fast
I sure hope so!
Brings back memories for me.
love to hear that!
@@LandonHuffmanRacing wish I could send a pic of our car. Was back in the 80s
Was a port city chassis and body.
I built the motors until we could afford a real engine built by malcuit racing engines
Dam interesting video Landon loved the content man hanging the body was awesome and no RJ today lol 😂 his fired can’t wait till your next video guys keep up the good work man
RJ lied and didn’t show up today lol
@@LandonHuffmanRacing lol 😂
That is a super clean looking chassis
thanks man!
