He truly cares more for each and every player, not as a player but the person under the helmet. He teaches life lessons and turns these boys into young men that can be a better man than a player

My high school coach was exactly like Nick Saban. We were championship contenders every year he was there and we only had a team of around 30 guys.

My brother who is about as far from a football fan as you can get, overheard me listening to a Saban speech and straight up said "You can tell that man is a natural born leader".

They said the same about bear Bryant. Same as the legendary coach at Miami or Ohio state or Bobby bowden or Joe Paterno. There is always another coach. Saban is a great coach but someone will come along. Look at Dabo Sweeny. Young guy already winning championships

I’m ashamed of my self as a fan.. I’ve lived less than 2 1/2 hrs from Bryant Denny and 31 years old, been a huge tide fan my whole life, my house is “littered” with memorabilia and I’ve never once been to Bryant Denny for a single game. It’s almost like a “fantasy” type deal the way I look at it. Been such a huge fan and I don’t have a good reason or excuse for it. I see it as a my fav celebrity as a person who is star struck, that’s the same way I see the Tide and Bryant Denny
