Wrong, Kevin Norwood is Bamas most underrated player under Saban, dude was a sure catch, and a big time catch maker, clutch as they can get at WR. People like you just look at stats, maybe you were too young to comprehend the impact he had, but is what it is
Barrett jones at 18 is ridiculous,he’s a top 3 saban player of all time, a smaller school would have a statue of him on campus, not only was he the most versatile player of the saban ever but in those 3 different positions he played on offensive line he’s prob top 5 best of the position in saban history,he played 3 different spots that he played to help out with a weak spot but he played them so good he prob won a national award for it,he set the tone early
I’m sorry but Mac Jones at #4 yes I know he had an incredible 2020 season but AJ Mcarron at number #28??? He’s the only QB in the Saban area to win more than one natty plus holds the wins (36-4) and passing yards
Cool idea that brought back some great memories. Thanks for putting this together! Of course it is subjective so everyone will have their opinions but regardless this took a lot of work and you did a great job!
Barrett Jones had an amazing career at Alabama. He played so many positions and did them all at high performance. Thanks for everything Barrett for everything you guys did for the state
Great video. Where these in order?? Number 1 would be slim reaper catching the game winning td on the last play in the Natty. All hope was lost. Biggest play on the biggest stage!
@@bamafan18yeah he looked way better coming off the bench because when you prep for an accurate QB like Tua and then Hurts runs all over, there’s just nothing you can do
Man I thought I was a big fan just coming up with a 2 deep depth chart for the Saban Era. Love the fandom but Mac at 4 is wild. Where is the love for Minkah?
Although this list is absolutely terrible the fact you have Drake at 97 are you even from the state of alabama 😭😭😭😭 However, still give you credit because this video brought back a lot of memories of players kind of forgotten in all the success. Amazing video. Atrocious list. 😭😭😭
Agree on Julio. He is where it all started. Arguably the most important signing of the Saban era. He opened the tap on 5 star talent. A few other nitpicks, but not a bad list. Just got the Julio ranking wrong.
Smith is #1. I know Henry couldn't be stopped but Smith was a different breed. Caught the game winning TD in 2017 and broke a record in 2020 (National Championships).
Overall, good job and footage. Compiling a list like this isn't easy. Kudos for that. But yeah, Julio has got to be top 5. AJ no lower than #3 QB. Top.10 if not higher
Will Reichard should be #1, he is the only kicker ever that didn't make me close my eyes on PAT's and Kick attempts. But seriously having Mac in the top 40 is insane. Aj Mcarron is the best QB under Saban. Julio was probably the most important WR recruit Saban ever landed because it got the passing attack started.
@@bamafan18 I am not doubting or down playing Mac10, but its undeniable he had the single best group to throw the ball to. I just don't believe he could of swung games like in 2009-2015
I was watching the order and I had to stop taking it personal because the list is way off. A lot of great players have played at Alabama and it is hard to rank them so I get it.
Just starting the video but if at the end the KING isn't on top sitting on his throne something is wrong. Whether this is intended to mean the top players while they were at Alabama or the top players to come out of there or both there is only one clear answer...Derrick Henry. Julio #46?! #46? I know the logic behind getting irritated with someone else's ranking list is silly but sometimes something is so far off it must be ridiculed. Henry #2 behind Smith is just dumb.
Currently watching this video and I haven't even gotten out of the 90's yet. Burton was not a better receiver than Norwood or White. It's safe to assume the rest of this video will be ass 😂
Naah bro I had to comment again YOU GOT JULIO THE GODFATHER OF ALABAMA OFFENSIVE TALENT AT 46? Most real alabama fans may argue he is literally no. 1 😭😭but 46 is absolutely unacceptable Somebody need to do somethin to you 😭😭😭😭 ain’t no way you a real bama fan
Whoever put this list together just threw random players in there. Mac Jones #4?? Really obviously this wasn’t based on talent. Julio disrespected too.
How you got milroe over guys that won national championships? Julio jones that low? This must be a youngin never watched Alabama football till probably tua was playing. I’d take Julio over any receiver on this list.
Whoever made this list either voted for Biden or is an Auburn fan which is basically as bad. Vinnie Sunseri at #98??? Come on. Dude was a player amd now a coach. People never stop amazing me on how dumb.
I know it’s hard to make, but this list is just absolutely terrible. Deionte Thompson at 41 above Julio Jones?? Deionte Thompson shouldn’t even be in the top 100!
What a shitty list! FIRST, NOBKICKERS OR SPECIAL TEAMS should be on this list! Absolutely disrespectful to all the truly great FOOTBALL PLAYERS from this program! Second, was this just your straight up OPINION? Did you have any sort of criteria? I can't figure out your reasoning for squat.
Dude didn’t watch Julio play because Julio was an absolute unit!
Imagine if Julio played with Tua or Bryce! Bama was run heavy when Julio played!
@@brooksphillips2234tell me about it. Big and fast no one would be touching him
Jameson Williams better than Julio I beg to differ
He was obviously great but we ran different style offense, he was not unleashed like he could’ve been
@fleyedd1479 he still almost got a 1000 yards his freshman year!
You might get a million views on this one! 💯
I hope😂
When Drake is 97 and Kevin Norwood is 96, I didn’t think it was worth going any further.
Exactly… Kenyan Drake at 97 is beyond me
When Coker was ranked better than McEleroy....same
Wait until you see Julio at 46..
J McLennan made the list at 99 I actually didn’t see him making the list
Wrong, Kevin Norwood is Bamas most underrated player under Saban, dude was a sure catch, and a big time catch maker, clutch as they can get at WR. People like you just look at stats, maybe you were too young to comprehend the impact he had, but is what it is
AJ McCarron needs to be higher
Back to Back titles as a starter
threw for over 9k yards when bama was known to run first
Same for Julio! If Julio played with Tua or Bryce it would gave been over!
Awesome video. Definitely have some nitpicks. Jalen that low is crazy with what he meant to Alabama same with Julio

great compilation, not a great ranking though at all
Mac was so incredibly proficient it's hard not to rank him top 5
Jalen hurts has 2 chips at Alabama
I mean to think that Saban coached like an entire generation of NFL players is crazzzyyyy
Cool idea that brought back some great memories. Thanks for putting this together! Of course it is subjective so everyone will have their opinions but regardless this took a lot of work and you did a great job!
I agree!
Great job on the compilation, but man Gibbs over Lacy over BRob over Yeldon ??? Julio at 46 and Jamo over Julio is a crime ?? - Roll tide though
Yeah man they need to live in Bama before they make these lol
No doubt! That is ridiculous having Julio at 46!
Like I said age of person has to younger than 35 I'm guessing 25 based on lack of knowledge
This was a fun trip down memory lane. Thanks for putting it together.
It's impossible to make this list accurately, but Julio is WAAAY off! He's a top 5, 100%- no doubt
Idk he was very inconsistent at Alabama. I do agree he did amazing in NFL but don’t think this list is going off of pros
Jalen Hurts at 66 is absolutely criminal and I am an Auburn fan
EXACTLY! Trent and Milroe too high
@@Andrew7244Richardson is not even close to too high
Amari Cooper had a genuine case for the Heisman his junior season

Hard to rank some of these guys as there were so many great ones, but Jalen Hurts at #66 seems rather low. Julio at 46??? He's a top 10 player.
He also did Coker dirty by not including him. Also will anderson should’ve been number 3.
Hurts was not that good at Alabama. Obviously he was good, but by Bama standards he was just okay.
@@bamafan18yeah he looked way better coming off the bench because when you prep for an accurate QB like Tua and then Hurts runs all over, there’s just nothing you can do
The fact that Mac Jones is like 50 something spots higher than Jalen hurts is wild
He should be because he almost never made a mistake in 2020. He was in a better situation but idk if he had 3 INTs that year
Bro this list is shot

Norwood should be a bit higher, dude was insanely clutch
Smittyyy Number 1 🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man you did great. I might have fiddled with the order. Where was Jameson Williams? Julio should have been higher. Still you got some greats.
Jameson is 45
How many of the top 100 went first round in the NFL draft
Ain’t nobody got time to count that high 😂

Hurts at 66?!?!
Devonta Smith is the best WR Bama has had in my opinion 🐐🔥
Disagreed with a lot, but ballsy to make a list this big good job
