This took me so long to beat because: -I had no clue what saving did or how to do it so I had to start over plenty of times. -This being my first video game, I was very confused. -I wouldn't train. -Barely any of my team members actually stayed on my team and I would just swap them out for a higher leveled Pokemon. Eventually it was just me ampharos, quagsire, and flygon. -The bosses were very hard for me. Lady Venus had the coolest Pokemon team I've seen to this day but I gave up after losing to her many times and quit for a few MONTHS. Eventually I picked it back up and beat her with ease. Weird...
This is probably my favorite song ever. It starts with one of the most badass intros of any song ever only to erupt into music so epic yet perfectly captures the absolute circus it was trying to snag a Shadow Beast
***** i think it might've been just to show the 2 box cover pokemon from the most recent games in 3D, kind of to get people to be like "wow they look cool in 3D i want this game"
What made the Chiper Admin battles stand out from the rest was that the admins had an actual strategy when fighting you, and didn't just use a move at random. Miror B liked using Leach Seed and Giga Drain, stealing HP from your Pokemon. Dakim was the most physical of the bunch, using Protect and Earthquake, unless the Pokemon had Levitate. Lady Venus (my favorite) had a knack for using Attract, a very simple, but annoying strategy. Finally, Ein prefers to use Rain Dance, then Thunder.
I always picture a wailord when this music comes up cause this music feels as huge as one & one of the people I face off in this game has 2 wailords making my battle look more huge
This game has an excellent soundtrack. I LOOOOVE game themes that don't have overpowering instruments. This song screams "Think about your decisions!" at 0:49 and "You can do it!!" at 1:22, and then falls back into the main melody, which gives it a strong feel of the strategic and calculated-risk mindsets which are the essences of pokemon games. It made me bite my nails, even though I'm not playing the game.....
To the people who understand me... Entei "Camerupt you IDIOT!!! Oh my god... Dakim really didn't want me to snag it!!" Suicune "...Oh no!! What?! WHAT?!?! Oh COME ON!!!!!!"
1:42 OH MY GOOODNESS... I remember the first time we got the game i'd always listen for that part when fighting the admin - the fight didn't even start but the song came up and my twin and i were like - SHIITTT!!! xDD 5/5 :)
Did you do that with Suicune? If so there is another ball that would work that i use for it. I get a Net Ball before I battle Lady Venus. Battle Suicune until its health is in the red zone, give a status prob and it works like a charm! (Just a thought) C:
This has to be the best pokemon game in history. Same with Pokemon XD. I have been playing this since I was 7 and it was such a fun game. I didn't know what to do at some parts so I asked my brother for help. Ahh, the good old days.
This is one of the only Pokemon games where the opponents use GOOD strategy, the fact that they used strategy at all still surprises me, for example 'Protect, earthquake, protect, earthquake' is a strategy that human players would use (pissed me off so much). Ein is easily the greatest scientist ever, as he turned, not 1, not 2, but 3 legends into shadow pokemon, every other team either gets one, if any. The Colosseum series, gen 3 and gen 5 easily hold some of the best music in Pokemon history
0:50 and on its like the most awesome beat ive ever heard in pokemon idk whats up with everything else before that and thats cool cuz it sets the mood for the battle and then makes it intense
Dakim's thought process: "I'm about to send out a Entei, a legendary Pokemon, which could really help me win this battle...Now would be the perfect time to use Earthquake!"
Wow, this game just brings back SO many good memories from when I was younger! When I get the chance im so going to play it again some day! I still know where the disk is:D And woop, I still have the good old gamecube..
it never left... There are still amazing boss themes, like Battle! Cynthia, D/P/Pl Rival battle, Final N battle, Battle! colress, BW2 Unova champion, and the BW Elite four, to name a few.
Honestly, this music almost scared me to the point of "I'm in deep shit now" when my friend and I were playing this. THAT was when we were battling Venus, I got this game a few years later.
I love this game xD i was gonna trade in Colosseum and XD, but then realized i MUST keep at least one of them. I was already familiar with the XD storyline, but haven't played Colosseum in years, so i turned it and and hit New Game, and i love it WAAAAAAAY more than XD, lolz
i like how this game is one of the only challenging pokemon games out there, it made me cuss when one time i caught hitmontop in one pokeball, but my nephew pressed the restart button, and i couldn't catch it ever again T_T
This song inspires me to get off my lazy ass and get a good enough education that I can make enough money to fund another of these games. With this music.
I dunno whether it's the music or the visuals, but this game seems to make me sleepy for some reason. I've fallen asleep playing it at night and left the Game Cube running for 8 hours countless times already.
@DevilRebellion That's an awesome team, if you still have them, you shoul transfer them to your diamond, pearl, platinum, Heargold, or Soulsilver game to use competivly. :)
i liked the 3d pokemon games with the plot better than those where u just battle other people like stadium and PBA but still i like them too, i hope a 3d one for the wii comes out with a plot it would be cool if u could play as your mii or something
I caught onto that guy that uses protect and earthquake right away. Just know which one of his pokemon are going to use earthquake next, and focus your attacks on that pokemon.
@MrNickk88 I don't think the game itself was particularly incredible (due to the setting, music, and plot) but I agree that the concept/gameplay was incredible. I definitely think a new 3d pokemon RPG would be AMAZING
After beating the game (or all the optional bosses or something like that) you go back to where you fought Miror B. in the Pyrite Cavern and you'll find a wannabe Miror B. When you find him it has the Miror B. music, but all sped up. That's Mirakle B.
This game actually maked challenge. Opponents had a damn strategy which this music combined made me think: Fuck i'm screwed, Forretress use explosion!!
I like the cipher admins more in this game then in XD. They seem to, well... Kiddish. Lovrina was too weird, blinking or whatever with her long hair, Gorigun like an ape, the other two I have no clue. Gonzap changed a bit. He looks huge. I love this game. It's hard compared to the other one. even though I never played it
@Camooso Ah, I don't mind. Pokemon Colosseum doesnt have much to do after beating the game and purifying the shadow pokemon anyway. So, I dont mind being restricted to the pokemon that can only be caught in that game. It makes the challenge all the more exciting. Same thing with Pokemon XD.
This took me so long to beat because:
-I had no clue what saving did or how to do it so I had to start over plenty of times.
-This being my first video game, I was very confused.

i never understood why Kyoger and Groudon were on the box art, they're never seen or mentioned in the game
I do not know why. They are, however, shown during 1 gameplay footage video that shows if you don't click "Start Game."
***** i think it might've been just to show the 2 box cover pokemon from the most recent games in 3D, kind of to get people to be like "wow they look cool in 3D i want this game"
I think it was to promote that you could play Ruby and Sapphire in 3D if you connect them.
Blitz Prower It was more like to promote Ruby and Zaphire
+Blitz Prower Colosseum mode
Said it before and I'll say it again, perfect tone setter when you come across Dakim
Every time I hear this I get reminded of that stupid ass Camerupt that used Earthquake while Entei was still on the field.
Skills. So that you can't catch entei 😂
What made the Chiper Admin battles stand out from the rest was that the admins had an actual strategy when fighting you, and didn't just use a move at random.

Fricking badass theme, so epic, I wish Game Freak was able to pull this kind of game and OST right now
Powerful, POWERFUL MUSIC. Very dramatic, well composed also. MY FAVORITE!!!!!
This music fits absolutely perfect! The Admins were really hard, and the nervousness you get from fighting them is definitely promoted by this.
I love how it's all silent-ish and tense, then at 00:50 it all breaks into this awesome theme.
I love how regal and elite this theme sounds, represents the Cipher Admins well.
I love how this game has a more classical feel to it for a change up, as apposed to the usual 8 - bit sounding Pokemon music.
I always picture a wailord when this music comes up cause this music feels as huge as one & one of the people I face off in this game has 2 wailords making my battle look more huge

just saying this right now. I Absolutely LOVE this music
One of the only songs in the game that doesn't get repetitive.
To me, this song remains one of the best Pokemon songs ever. I'll never sell the game because of it.
...Simply....Breathtaking....
This is awesome. I used this video for a private video where this song synced up with my TV! It was awesome.
I honestly love how creative the villians did with their team
Earthquake protect
Attracting your team
And rain dance thunder
"Oh no... Oh no! OH NO! CAMERPUT, NO! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! CAMERUPT, YOU IDIOT!"
"OH NO! WHAT?! WHAT?! OH, COME ON!"
Of all the video game music that has stuck in my head in my years of gaming, this is right up there as one of my favourites.
At least in Pokemon XD, they switched the music in the 4th Colosseum to this, I was so happy! xD
I love the beginning with (probably sounds like) violins, and the trumpet on :42 through :50, awesome song, keep it up
Alright,
Could I face the Admins for the third time so
i could catch the legendary's with the MB?
( With the Endless ball Glitch )
To the people who understand me...
Entei
"Camerupt you IDIOT!!! Oh my god... Dakim really didn't want me to snag it!!"
Suicune
"...Oh no!! What?! WHAT?!?! Oh COME ON!!!!!!"
EAAAARTH QUAKE.
Ein was the meaning of cool
Thiss music kicks ass, thanks for putting this up! :D
Let's not forget the slaking and skill swap, or how fitting, Ein's lightning rod horrors.
This song sound like it's for a boss ^_^
Geez, where's my GameCube right now? Need to play Colosseum through once more. This music made me remember how epic the game could be at its fullest.
This has to be one of my most favorite pokemon songs ever made. :P you know the boss/trainer means business when you hear this little remedy.
1:42 OH MY GOOODNESS... I remember the first time we got the game i'd always listen for that part when fighting the admin - the fight didn't even start but the song came up and my twin and i were like - SHIITTT!!! xDD
5/5 :)
Hahaha i would get soo excited when this came on during battles!
Did you do that with Suicune? If so there is another ball that would work that i use for it. I get a Net Ball before I battle Lady Venus. Battle Suicune until its health is in the red zone, give a status prob and it works like a charm! (Just a thought) C:

@Icalasari hush. have you seen the new graphics? the new themes? the new Rivals and N? The Ferris Wheel girl?
i always thought this music made the battle EPIC
so awesome!
Yes, and Dakim, Venus, and Ein have this theme. Which is awesome, by the way.
this song is also the music for the final round at the pyrite colosseum in pokemon XD. i love it!
Is there an extended version of this? If I search all I find is some different version.
I played this so long ago... Who were the admins again? And did they each have one of the legendary dogs (Entei, Raikou, Suicune)?
Dakim's thought process:
"I'm about to send out a Entei, a legendary Pokemon, which could really help me win this battle...Now would be the perfect time to use Earthquake!"
Wow, this game just brings back SO many good memories from when I was younger! When I get the chance im so going to play it again some day! I still know where the disk is:D And woop, I still have the good old gamecube..

I always just called Entei, Suicune, and Raikou the "Legendary Beasts" because they didn't all look like cats or dogs equally.
I CANNOT get enough of this song!!!!!!!!
character wise coleseum kicked ass but story wise and music wise XD takes the cake and this is in XD as well
Honestly, this music almost scared me to the point of "I'm in deep shit now" when my friend and I were playing this. THAT was when we were battling Venus, I got this game a few years later.
@Snoozegoose CHuggaaconroy's shiny weezing would be proud :P
Ooooh, that's gotta hurt badly. Sorry for ya, dude.
This song makes me remember the first time me and my sister fought Lady Venus. That damn Steelix of hers kept kicking our asses!
i like how this game is one of the only challenging pokemon games out there, it made me cuss when one time i caught hitmontop in one pokeball, but my nephew pressed the restart button, and i couldn't catch it ever again T_T
One day I will snag every single shadow Pokemon in this game...
This song inspires me to get off my lazy ass and get a good enough education that I can make enough money to fund another of these games. With this music.
yah. this is definitely the best pokemon music ever. they should do something like this for the handhelds. that would be AWESOME!
1:43-1:50 thats the BEST part of the song in my opnion not countung the intro, thats awsome too.
I LOVE this track, can tell its a boss battle
I love this theme as well..I still hum this theme and the one from Gale of Darkness to myself today
i could so see a metal or heavy rock version of this song. how awesome that would be.
Where'd you get the idea I don't have Wii already? O_o I just don't like to play my GC games on it.
I dunno whether it's the music or the visuals, but this game seems to make me sleepy for some reason. I've fallen asleep playing it at night and left the Game Cube running for 8 hours countless times already.
I was thinking that too! and What if they remade the old games for gameboy color in 3D on the Wii?
i used to be scared a hell lot when i was battling these admins the song made me cry cause i couldnt snag the pokemon ahhh good times
Oh god I know. O_o But you know they're going to be pain's in the rear-ends and hard to beat. XD
wes was an awesome character^^ he must have an comeback!
@DevilRebellion That's an awesome team, if you still have them, you shoul transfer them to your diamond, pearl, platinum, Heargold, or Soulsilver game to use competivly. :)
i liked the 3d pokemon games with the plot better than those where u just battle other people like stadium and PBA but still i like them too, i hope a 3d one for the wii comes out with a plot

I caught onto that guy that uses protect and earthquake right away. Just know which one of his pokemon are going to use earthquake next, and focus your attacks on that pokemon.
His Ludicolos gave me a headache after a long time of battling him!
Surprisingly epic for a song in a Pokemon game. I hate the times this song plays, but doesn't get grand like at 0:49. Gah! Best part!
I take as long as i need to in Orres colosseums finals....just for this song.
I love how Mirror B is the only Cipher Admin who gets his own music
@torechick6666 it's the theme for the final round of any colosseum battle, like in pyrite colosseum and realgam tower
@MrNickk88 I don't think the game itself was particularly incredible (due to the setting, music, and plot) but I agree that the concept/gameplay was incredible. I definitely think a new 3d pokemon RPG would be AMAZING
I felt your pain bro... I felt it...
This theme is gonna be the soundtrack of my life someday
I just kind of jumped into this conversation, but it was an evil Pokemon in the fourth movie. :P
This music epic. It admittedly made me a little nervous
After beating the game (or all the optional bosses or something like that) you go back to where you fought Miror B. in the Pyrite Cavern and you'll find a wannabe Miror B. When you find him it has the Miror B. music, but all sped up. That's Mirakle B.
This game actually maked challenge. Opponents had a damn strategy which this music combined made me think: Fuck i'm screwed, Forretress use explosion!!
love the flute part
Ok, thanks.
I have all the information I needed,
This song was pretty epic, but didnt feel like a real boss song, because it was used for every boss-like battle, including colloseum round 4 battles.
This song got me fucking pumped.
love this so much
same here...this track is pretty awesome..coming from a pokemon game...
gold/silver remake 3D on the Wii. heh awesome idea
Well we haven't actually heard any gen VI battle music yet, though it would be a safe assumption it's good.
I feel your pain bro. I feel your pain.
This song is so epic, and the sequels is no different!
It happens to me too... I like this version way better though. The part at about 0:50 is the best part!
0:00 to 0:49 wasnt that in the final round battles too?
Epicness. Who's the composer?
I like the cipher admins more in this game then in XD. They seem to, well... Kiddish. Lovrina was too weird, blinking or whatever with her long hair, Gorigun like an ape, the other two I have no clue. Gonzap changed a bit. He looks huge. I love this game.
