I prefer this version, Alissa adds an extra awesome element to the track imo!
Also, both these bands instrumentals and vocals go really well, what a great super band that would be!
Same the Alissa White-Gluz version is the best in my opinion
It's ok, the original is better obviously. I'd like it more if she had used her growls AND her clean vocals. She has great clean vocals and say if she had done clean verses and growls on the chorus It would have worked so much better and had brought in a cool contrast.

Powerwolf is such a gothic metal sound with great harmonies and choruses but here the fundamentals of the song are changed so much that it detracts from the song. I get what they are doing having guest vocalists sing their songs as they have done this kind of thing many times before. The growls overwhelm the music which immediately takes you out of it. This feels almost like female led Cradle of Filth meets Powerwolf meets Arch-Enemy without the crazy guitar work and Alissa's screech instead of Danny's wails. I love Cradle of Filth...but in this instance I just don't feel like the growls work...5/10
The music and the vocals need to complement each other, maybe if this was a full cover and put there own flair into the music it would have worked better
Any listener to gothic metal shakes his head right now... what you consider to be "gothic" about Powerwolf is the fact that their interpretation of power metal uses organ, choir and symphonic elements. Gothic metal is stuff like Paradise Lost or My Dying Bride... I agree, though, that this cover feels kind of bland, nothing outstanding about it. Putting Alyssa in a song doesn't automatically make it awesome, it seems. :)

@@TheFundead I don't disagree! Before I heard it I thought it was going to be a rare feature of her singing with clean vocals...then I heard the song and the entire thing was growled...the more I hear it the more I dislike it.
There are much more versatile female vocalists that could have added some great depth to the song than her. But she is the creature feature in the metal scene these days for some reason...

Alissa sure gave good counter slap to the original music video 😁 Great singing by Alissa, great costumes too 🙂 The costume remind me of a stunning similar costume with horns and everything worn by one lady at the last Tuska festival on 2019. Still feel bad I didn't get a picture of her. Even Alissa would have been impressed for sure 😌 If you happen to read this note, let me just say: You costume and artistry was epic 🤗!

Important, that Jari will sing the song "Saturday Satan ", and in fact it will suit him very well in the style of his vocals, and in principle in its capabilities . ( It's a pity that Jari cut his hair . Perhaps this will be a spoiler to the video ( if of course there will be a video , which I hope ))

I'm with you on this one, Pedro. It's a good song, but the original is beyond compare. I think I would have liked it more if Alissa mixed some cleans in with her growling. It just felt like too much by the end.

You know I'm an old original fan of you guys, great job, but this version SUCKS!!!!!.... She mutilated, murdered this song bigtime!!!!.... The best part of the song is being able to hear Attilla in the backing layers of the vocals!!!!.... Fuckin yikes!!!!.... SOOOOO bad!!!!!....lol

Powerwolf is boring and to cheesy band for me. This version is the only song from them that I can enjoy. It has more demonic perspective, and I like it.

It is only better because Alissa looks amazing in it, but that is the video and not the song and especially the singing. However, it was still good to listen to, but for me her voice did nothing good for the song. Thanks for sharing, have a good day.
