She is very talented, a true professional. I LOVED the character of Jewel on Deadwood! The relationship she had with Doc Cochran (Brad Douriff) was one of the sweeter, gentler parts of the show. I hope to see them both again in the reunion movie which is SUPPOSED TO BE IN PRODUCTION RIGHT NOW unless we have been lied to again.
They just re-aired your first episode of THE FACTS OF LIFE last night. It made me think of when I was a little kid seeing you for the first time and learning that there were people out there in this great big world who looked and acted differently than myself. And that they were just as loving, kind and wonderful as the people in my tiny little world.You are and always have been an inspiration to me Geri, god bless you!!

In her interview with the Archive of American Television, Geri goes on with the story about how her Deadwood contract had a clause about full frontal nudity and sexual simulation and how disappointed she was when she never saw any of that for her character every time she got her script! That was a really funny bit! :-)
