I am watching your textured wall art videos and I just can not stop thinking about how this can be applied on the walls in your home to add another dimension , warmth an uniquenes. Thanks for making these, you're amazing!
Mon..i really appreciate that you explain your process as you go along. I LOVE your art! I procrastinated for awhile before i attempted something...i am learning so much from you. Could you possibly do a black fabric art detailed on canvas. I watched a few but i would love to see you do one. Thank you. Paula USA
Thank you for such great videos, and great explanation how you do it step by step ! This is really helpful and useful for someone who loves art but never painted before. ❤
Thank you, beautiful ! Suggestion on alternative products that can be use, can you you dilute drywall mud & use instead of plaster? Love to see outdoor “Orbs”, using cement to alternative products. Planning on making some for front of house with solar lights. Going to glue the glass beads on random areas for addition color & reflections. Sorry if you have done already, I just found your channel & love it!!
I'm so glad you like my channel 🥰💕 I think for this particular project, drywall mud won't work, but you can try tile glue or joint compound. The mud is thinner and I think it won't keep its shape.
I love your art, its beautiful. I got inspired by your videos as I am looking to decorate wall above my bed. And some of your art pieces reminds me a desert and i feel that would be a great idea to make the whole wall above bed look like a desert. If you are looking for ideas that might be one of them;))
Hello I love your work! So inspiring! Question for you - what do you use to preserve the final products so that the plaster and compound etc does not crack and break off years down the road? Thank you
Thank you so much 🥰 I'm so glad you like it! I am actually not giving them a finishing coat, but maybe I should, since I've noticed a few cracks overtime
Mon, I tried the clay textured art and it flopped totally! It kept falling apart and breaking. Then I attempted the acrylic light one with the six black rolls. You did it beautifully. Are you supposed to dilute acrylic paint? My paint turned out all blotchy. Can you let me know? I want to try again. Thank you, Mon. You make beautiful art.
That's just regular dish washing sponge. I used it to smooth out everything. Mine is from Ikea, but you can honestly use whatever sponge you have at home 🥰
I was very inspired by your video and decided to do the folded air clay project, but unfortunately the next day it had cracked and I wanted to ask you if you have any tips for avoiding the cracks, thanks!
I'm so sorry to hear your clay cracked 🥺 I honestly think in my case the cardboard canvas saved the day, since this is a bit more flexible canvas. The canvas folded a bit in time, but fortunately I had no cracks. You can also try not folding it on the sides, and just let it shrink as it dries out, and then maybe hot glue the ends. Or also try another type of clay. Look for something that doesn't shrink as much as the regular clay. It should work ☺️💕
Puedo intentar... Para el primer y segundo proyecto utilicé arcilla seca al aire y pintura acrílica. Para el último proyecto usé yeso. También puede usar compuesto para juntas o barro para paneles de yeso. 🥰
On your 3rd project how many times did you have to fill the plastic bag? Would it be better to fill 2 at the same time so the plaster does not dry up before removing the tape?
I know. The thing is, I have them for such a long time, and I have packed them in my own bags and boxes and I'm not sure about the exact brand 😅 I'll make sure to be more accurate for my future projects 💕
It haven't cracked so far, and I honestly have no idea why, since I've seen people struggling with cracked projects, especially with the clay one 😔 I have no idea why mine have no cracks. Maybe it's the brand
I have a long picture ledge above my TV so I showcase them there. However, if you'd like to hang them on the wall, you can use command strips, or just hot glue a frame hanger on the back 🥰
How much would you charge for these pieces? I’m thinking about doing something like this to sell at our town fair. I have NO idea how much to charge! Thank you💜
That's such a great idea you could absolutely do it ☺️ However I would be careful about choosing the brand of plaster or clay, since some brands are prone to cracking more than others. So make sure to test them first before doing a whols bunch of them. Also, if you're working with plaster, you can add mesh tape before applying the plaster, to prevent cracking. About the price, I honestly have no idea 😅 Maybe you can check similar pieces on Etsy. I've seen people selling textured wall art there, and maybe that can give you an idea on the price 🥰💕

Another question, did you paint the board before starting your plaster?
Awesome ideas. Thank you.

Yaaay 🤗🎉🎉🎉💕
I’d love to be able to hang these on the walls. Any tips on how to add some sort of a hook to be able to do that?
Maybe command strips, or just remove some frame hangers from older frames and re-screw them on your cardboard canvases ☺️

Can you use any kind of board or must it be cotton canvas first time watching ❤
I think you can use any board you like, but canvas works best in my opinion 🥰
Obrigada pelo vídeo 💕

That's such a great idea actually! 👏 However my projects were smaller, and I only used this small bag that I filled 😊
Awesome but does it stick to the board without any adhesive? Is it durable?
Yes it is! For now there's no crack or tear anywhere. Everything is staying in place so far 🥰
@@HomeByMon that’s amazing thank you 🥰💐

I think you can. I've never used it, but I've used drywall mud and joint compound and they work great too. So I think polyfiller will work as well ☺️
Thank you so much x
