I had completely missed this video. I started looking at your playlists after your last video on maps and found a treasure trove. Thank you very much. I love this series which I am just discovering. Greetz from Paris.
@@BooneLovesVideo I work as a freelancer motion designer using mostly After Effects and 3ds max. Sometimes, I make videos for companies that present different investment projects. In Ferbuary 2020, while I was working on a project of visualizing a new factory, I saw your video about Google Earth Studio. One of the scenes in the video included the visualization of the geospot where the factory is going to be built, so I after I watchd your video, I registered in the Google Earth Studio and made the visualization in it. Client was very happy with the result. Unfortunately, I cannot share the video, but I will try to make a showreel which features it in the future. One of the plug-ins that I used in couple of projects is the Orb (it is free and it looks great, thanks to Videocopilot :). I have one video that I can show, where it was used in the end scene - ruclips.net/video/oZCR3-3sECk/видео.html (It is in Russian, because it was made for a Russian oil transport company).
Thank you for the video. A simple question however: if you create an animation from GEOLayers are you allowed to use it commercially, let's say for example on a monetized RUclips video?😁
WOOOW, do you have any tutorial where you place maps markers on an earth globe and follow the same movement as the sphere? I need to mark countries on the spinning sphere and I can't find any tutorial on that. Thanks!
Actually I just did a big project including this. I used VideoCopilot's Orb in GEOlayers 3. It's super advanced, but I'll indeed have to create a tutorial about it.
Is there a way, in GeoLayers or other tool, to do historical borders through time? I want to make the borders of a country change through history in a morphing kind of way, not just dissolve between years.
Can someone please tell me how I can display country border within GES and use them in an animation? I know I have to download KML but hours of research didnt even provide me with a proper website where to download them? Anyone a tip how to solve this?
can you make a video on how to make a vector map into different layered countries. Im having trouble doing them into detail, every little border, and I wonder if there's a short cut, because it would take a long time using the pen tool to draw every single border. Thanks
Nice video, I think Creator Studio and Map gener would be a good match, or scripts like Easy Arrow. I think that's the best vector map page I've found. I was reading that almost all the maps of the earth that we know don't look like they really are, they show places like Russia bigger than they are when due to the shape of the earth or something like that, it has nothing to do with this, I just wanted share it. Thanks for the video.
Very cool! I’ll have to check these out. Thanks for sharing. And that free vector maps site will actually let you choose different projection categories as well. Very cool
@@BooneLovesVideo Thanks for replying. But I meant the RUclips channel named 'Atlas Pro'. I want to learn how he creates colour filled maps with moving camera motion in after effects.
not sure yet but i think ill go with freevectormaps im like a complete noob when it comes to after fx so what im looking for is a 3d map (globe) that would have all of the countries split by borders obviously and i want to be able to interact with them individually when i export it as json. so if any of u see this guide me lol thankks ahead
Man, I have like BIG issues with video copilot. I use Element 3D and it is REALLY slow to preview and render with some lights and ray tracing. I dont know if it's my fault or it is like this because it's inside AE. I have a GTX 1650 4GB and was not using the "cinema 4D renderer" inside AE, is that the problem?
@boonelovesvideo Hi, I am considering buying GEOlayers 3.... My project is for an NGO reforesting the Atlantic rainforest with native trees and I want to produce an animation with trees growing out of the map, similar to the demonstration with rising sea levels the trailer displays. Do you think I would be able to to that with this application? Thank you in advance! Alex
I love your videos! Especially the map creation videos. Thank you for creating these. I have been trying to figure out how to create lower third route maps like the Mercedes Benz. They are such minimal cool maps for travel videos. ruclips.net/video/wfxbR5uvueY/видео.html I have seen some here at time stamp 3:15 , 6:07 , 9:28 and 8:48 and tried to recreate it in AE, imported and scaled in Pr but I wasn't successful with blending it with the video. It'll be great if you could share your thoughts about this. Thank you so much!
Thanks for the kind words! So you can very easily do these with GEOlayers. Not sure about the other plugins on this list. GEOlayers is by far the best plugin out there, but it's a bit pricey and has a steep learning curve. But first of all you should probably be blending it together in AE, as that program is made for compositing. Simply bring your video clip and blend in AE, and then export that one shot for Premiere. Just a suggestion.
Boone Loves Video Thank you so much. That sounds great. I had bought the GeoLayers3, but wasn’t able to run it for some reason. Just don’t know why, I’m still trying to figure out. But thank you so much for responding to my comment and the suggestion. Have a good day 😊

How come i only find your video today..this channel is awesome
No virus, real work
Very Nice. Love it.

Ha, should I change the name of the channel? :) Not a bad idea.
Is there a tool that offers animated war mapping (showing campaign flows, unit movements, dynamic skirmish line, etc)
Everything works pretty well. If you follow and keep the balance, everything will be fine.
May I know how long I have to wait documentation after sign up Google Earth Studio?
THANKS FOR THIS IV BEEN SEARCHING FO SOOO LONG

Hey! Thanks so much for this video! I have a question, how long does it take to sign up for google earth studio?

Hi there,
These tools look stunning. Thank you very much for the upload. Which, if any, of these are compatible with da Vinci resolve 16?
Thanks!
Free vector maps and Google earth studio will work with DaVinci resolve. Just not the tracking points from GES.

Do the tools like orb only work with AE or are they compatible with other editing software (like DaVinci Resolve)?
Yeah, Orb is specific to Adobe After Effects.
