Edit: If anyone else comes across this, ZeeMods Audio Framework isn't like Sound Fixes mod with generic sounds that's applied to all trucks, very few of the listed mods work across other trucks, you need specific trucks for the mod to work, ZAF, with the other Zeemod Audio mods along with this Volvo pack does sound amazing tho! It's currently only for the 450 and 500HP engines, but damn the whole package sounds so good, round that up with a good physics mod like Revamped Dynamic Suspension and "Realish" Graphics mod, youve got a complete package! Thanks Zeemod, looking forward to your future additions :)

ZAF is not active in our country. How did you activate it so you could hear the sounds in the video? We followed the instructions but unfortunately it doesn't work

However, even though I installed ZAF as a plugin, I cannot hear the window opening and other plug-in sounds that come with ZAF in the game. I also tried with zero profile but the result is still the same. What should we do about this?

just downloaded the new zaf not working at all also could you make a video on what to to with the stuff in the mod folder of the game like do we need to take it out the old mod from the mod folder or do we keep it in there also nothing shows up in the folder when you download the new mod in that folder
first you need to download the main zaf just on its own, then you install it, and after that you will download those files what you bought from Volvo, and then you will install that Zaf file from Volvo folder, thats how I done it and I have all genuine sounds working.
@@jayyyoung8255 Yes as and where possible! A lot of the older stuff requires re-recording with the new methods and equipment to bring it up to G5 standard, so it can take some time to get things booked in.
This depth in the sounds is insane. ( I mean it in a good way). The Wind, tyre and trailer sounds are only missing the trailer air brake sounds and maybe squeaky brakes.
Yup... Bought the mod, this video convinced me. I am curious to know why, however, in addition to having to redo engine files, you also had to change the gearbox files as well? Is it a question of sounds as well? Also -- the torque specs should be updated, the 500TC, for instance, has its max torque from 900 up to 1250, not only at 1250 :)
It has a terrible looping pulsating deep bass at ~1000 RPMs (at the start of the next gear), it sounds really bad. Too much reverberation on this one, even with windows opened this thing still annoys, it's like the engine sound is "somewhere there", while this pulsating bass reverb thing is always in the first sound layer that you'll hear. This needs to be fixed, or every driving session eventually becomes a torture. Apart from that, the sound is nice, especially the air brakes - top-notch, you can really feel the air pressure, not just listen to typical "psss". Secondly, ZAF doesn't want to work with this mod's interior and effects pack for unknown reasons (both 'engine' and 'effects' mods are active in the mods list). At the start of the game in console it says "Compatible Truck and Interior & Effects Pack not detected for truck volvo.fh_2022." and thus, all ZAF-related additional sounds are absent.
im want to report a BUG about ur mod. the audible warning sound when the engine is off but light on seems getting stuck in forever looping beep-beep sound. when i try to change my truck from SANAX Volvo FH 2022 to DAF 2021 XG+ all using your sound mod. the alarm sound keeps beeping forever even i removed all the sound mods. when i return to vanilla with no mods. the audible warning sound (beep-beep) sound is still there, and it seems it getting stuck. SAD i have to reinstall the game because of this. i really like your mod but try to figure out this bug/problem because it could cause disaster to other players too.

Hi when im in an other truck then the volvo and its a scs truck i hear the constant bleeping sound and now in the volvo its the same just a constant bleep the warning sound and not the one when a car is encountering you when you want 2 turn
Dude, your sounds are very good, but it's very difficult to make it work, even if you follow the installation guide it doesn't work, you need to find an easier way to install it.

Yes you can get any engine sound for any truck. But you have to change engine code in your save file. You can search for it in youtube have some videos to show how to do it.
for me it does mot work.I have installed the mod,activated in the game mod manager but the sound of the FH5 is the default one.In the cusomization shop,under the engines tab I have just the base game engines,no zeemods engines .

I noticed You are now using Microsoft's MSI installer to distribute Your mods. As a Linux user who uses WINE for windows executables like MSI, I should warn any other Linux users that it will NOT install the files into the correct folder. You will need to navigate Your .wine folder and find the MOD folder and move the mods to their correct Linux equivalent locations, usually Your .local/share/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod or .local/share/American Truck Simulator/mod folder. my only criticism is the reverberation when listened from outside the truck and it sounds somewhat exaggerated

If you’re using Volvo by Sanax make sure the truck is higher priority than graphics mods and physics mods.

Im buy this mod,its amazing but when uphill the engine is slow and rpm always under 10000 so power is weak. Can you fix this?

It installs directly into your mods folder. The open def version is available to download on the order page as normal.
