I want to give some constructive criticism as a complete stranger with no intent other than to pass some wisdom down to my fellow man..
Stop talking the way you do. It’s harsh I know. But talk like an educated man. You sound like you did time in prison and I guarantee that is one reason employers are ghosting you.
I would call construction companies; framing companies, drywall, paint, masonry, grading, plumbing, electrical. Whatever interests you and your even go to there offices and say you want to work hard and find a career.
I was I nobody with a rough past and I can relate to you (not having a job and being down) my life is a like a dream now. Just work hard and all will fall into place.
    I’m rooting for you!

Ive been trying to work on the way I carry and act for a longgggggg time I know how bad it is and sounds. Its very unprofessional but i never would’ve thought it was holding me back…. And also im not a professional person, im 20 and have never wore a suit in my life and thats also something im working on… thanks for the advice bro

I was 21 when I decided to change my persona and be a different man. I had a kid and had to change. You don’t need a suit, wear a nice polo and jeans. Bring paper and pencil for notes. Say yes sir.
So think of this, you are younger at 20 and have an early advantage than I did.
I’m almost 30. And have wife, kids, and we just build our dream house on 12 acres. I have cars, bikes, and we travel and money is not an issue.
I started digging holes as a laborer for footings. I wanted to be a framer so I went to a framing company and they gave me a job, I was the only white person and worked with all Mexicans. I learned Spanish and they thought me everything about framing, most of my mentors are Hispanic.
After 2 years of framing I was a badass framer ( really got into the groove) a flier when out about opportunity for estimator and superintendent. I decided to apply for the estimator as I was still young and not much experience for superintendent. Went in to apply and they told me the job had been filled by a designer that transferred. They told me that they needed to fill the designer Job and asked if I was interested. I said yes not even knowing what a designer was. The rest is history…. I started designing on a computer making 15 an hour and every year got better and better and now I make 75k a year (working ton of overtime 50/60 hrs a week) and I’m currently at my home working from home enjoying the view)
This will be you! Never get discouraged, be eager to learn from the older guys that spend time teaching you, they will be your mentors. Good luck man
