I received a big set of polymer clay years ago which I have in a cool dark place. You know I have been around a long time and I love what you do but as a fellow artist I felt doing anything similar would almost be stealing but hoops…this is right up my alley and I have several ideas which differ than these so I may give it a try! I’m blown away by your talent I have always used beads and wire as my medium but arthritis has really hurt my creativity but perhaps…..even if I only make for me it’s cool to get these creative juices flowing so thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

You mentioned about putting the hoops in the fridge so that the shape can stay; great idea!! I also put my canes into the fridge before cutting into them without altering the design.

Probably 15 mins or so not that long and I don’t always put them in the fridge unless I’m doing a bunch.

These are great! Do they get the shiny spot from resting on your baking sheet/tile?
Not really I bake them on the silicone. But if I do bake on tile I just go over them with acetone.

Do you resin the whole hoop? Can you just glue the post on?
I just resin the post on only. So I glue first with this glue amzn.to/3H1wyUv and then I also use this uv resin to secure it amzn.to/3aDVMfD.
Isn't it hard to cut the hoops after they are baked?
Actually if you cut them right out the oven it's so soft. But if you wait it's not hard to cut.
