    Love that you pronounce Ukulele correctly in Hawaiian. I hope more Ukulele players can show respect to this Hawaiian instrument by pronouncing the name the right way.

    What a wonderful singing voice! Going to check out more vids in the hope to hear more singing. Breezin’ by George Benson is one of my favorite songs that uses that progression.

      Thank you so much! George Benson is a true master! Craig & I have many videos on our channel - I hope you found that and enjoyed the tunes!

    Dear Sarah. Your cover of Straighten Up and Fly Right sounds amazing! But the original version sounds completely different, I like yours 1000 times more. Is there any way to get it in full on video, please? I can't figure it out myself (((

    • @CraigandSarah
      @CraigandSarah 5 лет назад

      If you Google Rhythm Changes, you will come across changes that are similar (if not the same) as what are shown in the video. In the Online School, I teach the full 32 bars of Rhythm Changes- but you have to subscribe to the online school to have access to that video. Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoy this variation.

    the chords remind me of Fly Me To The Moon at some point. maybe those chords are part of it?

    • @MeTaLCaM
      @MeTaLCaM 4 года назад +1

      This progression is called the Rythm Changes progression (from the song's name). It actually contains the ii V I progression that you find on most jazz tunes, including... Fly Me to the moon :)

    I appreciate beginner lessons, but l often wish for a chord diagram instead of getting a long verbal description of each chord. (But, that's where l am, 76 years old and not a lot of time left to become a maestro.)

    what is the serial number of this ukulele? Thank you!

    • @CraigandSarah
      @CraigandSarah 5 лет назад +1

      This is a custom Kanile'a. If you wanted to have one similar, you'd have to contact them directly and ask for one that has the details found in Sarah Maisel's model.

    • @CraigandSarah

      Sometimes, you can use ONE finger to cover the G & C strings - that can help when you've got a little less space to work with. I usually use my middle finger to cover those two strings, if that's the case. Hope this helps! Though, another 'ukulele isn't a bad idea - you can never have enough. ;)

    dont forget to be realistic - you must put in some work whichever plan you choose for becoming a pianist I have spent months researching into how to play Ukelele and discovered a fantastic website at Arthurs Uke Blog (google it if you're interested)
