Every time Aaron refuses to read the marketing, an Angel gets its wings!!
👏🏻👏🏻
lmao - epic comment!
They call it "Angels‘ Share" 👍
😂
It’s interesting how he tells why it’s a good fragrance, even when he doesn’t like it personally.
I knew there was something whipping through the base, love it.
God your videos are SO awesome! You have taught me SO MUCH about perfumery and the incredible materials that go into them. Your videos are so zen and soothing. Just want to tell you that you are amazing!
Great video, thanks for sharing bits of your knowledge Aaron! 😊
Love your work keep it up
This is a fantastic scent. Huge compliment getter, too. I love wearing the original during the day and then this at night in warmer temps.
This is amazing and one of my most favorite perfumes. It smells so good and performs in high heat! I love this.
Appreciate the content! Great review as usual.
Great review as always. Love to see how you always leave your personal tastes on the side when rating a fragrance and comment on the rest. Love this stuff and it's currently my signature scent.
Thanks for your review.♥️♥️♥️
I've been waiting SO LONG for you to review this! It's my current favorite fragrance, and I have it on right now, lol! So naturally, you don't like it 😂😂😂. I love that you can appreciate something, while also giving your honest opinion.
How was it in you?
Do you think cedrat boise Intense is a lot better than the original? The original gave me a headache so I’m unsure whether to bother with Intense, though I do enjoy the smell of the DNA.
@@bassacoustic1549 I would say get a sample from from perfuum or decantx and try it out. I LOVE it, and I've recieved the best compliments of anything in my collection (2nd most overall, but people have gone out of their way to compliment/ask what I was wearing). Like you, I really enjoyed the dna, but there was something about the original that rubbed me the wrong way, so I was eager to try Intense. In my opinion, not only did it correct whatever I didn't like about the original, but improved on the DNA in every conceivable way (except projection, which to me is a good thing, because I found it easy to overspray the original, and intense gives you a bit more leeway, but still be careful of sprays)
Waiting for this💕
I really like your reviews. They are very informative and thorough, could u please add the best seasons and time of the perfums you review!!!
Love this fragrance before I watch the video. Also your pronunciation was adorable 😂
I love the original DNA of this fragrance, bright citrusy, smoky, and syrupy fruitiness! might I suggest a review of this years release Polo Red Parfum, so curious about your thoughts on its formulation.
EM, Iso e super and ambroxian - thats alot of additives haha. Your visual descriptions of scents is much appreciated.
I love the moving hand so much! Almost at 85k! Bravo, and Boise="bwah-zay"
We have something magical for 100k. We will be announcing it soon!
Love this one ❤🔥
"Cedrat Boys"
Thank you Aaron.
Great review as usual Aaron. Now about that new hairstyle...
Thank you for reviewing Intense Cedrait Boise! I’m excited to see what you think about it. I pray to make review about Guerlain - Santal Royal one day🙏😔 (I’m 1000% sure you will love it)
send him a sample
crazy hair style!!!! 😍😍
I had been watching a couple videos here and there cuz you’ve got nice insights… just now connected the dots… man Hard Candy is one of the best smells I’ve ever had the pleasure to smell. Wow.
Amazing. Thank you for supporting my work!
I completely agree with you on the detergent smell that comes from cheaper fragrances.
You also love dior homme parfum?
@@Jackinnabox462 i actually like it but not the parfum, the original is good but doesn't last long
Always have ASMR vibes with these reviews
I thought I was the only one who gets those vibes from ATH! Lol
I honestly love that!
Me too. I get the same with Monika Cioch.
Been waiting for you to do this one. Have you done YSL’s La nuit del’homme, EDT and Le parfum? Tuxedo, by the fireplace, and Resala would be great also. Looking forward to them!
I especially love the music at 3:45 so dope
I like this smell very much. it effects lovely feelings. Brings positive effects.
Was just watching an Aaron vid where he mentioned some customers asking for more oldschool Aaron art-led fragrances, I'd love a limited edition sample set with Experiment 1 - 10 or whatever, customers get to rank them online, if something is well loved it gets a proper release, if I missed out on the set and something got talked about and I couldn't get it, I'd pray for a full release, track the charts, would be fun
My sample of this got WAY more positive attention than Aventus, Club De Nuit man Intense and Explorer from the ladies at work.
The music and his voice come together like their having a dance in a garden as the sun is setting. If this is not magic, hypnosis or enchantment, I don't know what this is 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍.
I’m saying… my favorite part is when the beat changes up a bit during his after thoughts. ❤
anytime i watch your videos, i wonder the microphone and sound car you use. the output is astonishingly amazing!
Usually Oakmoss Absolute is the IFRA compliant version ... I also use it at max 0.1% in my creations!
Cedrat Boise Intense is a really good fragrance. It’s on the edge of having everything.
I just got some of this like 3 days ago, crazy you're reviewing it now.
I don't care much for the lemon top note at first, but the drydown to the cedar wood smell is fantastic.
This comment made me wanna get it, probably buying it tomorrow, the Lemon opening and Cedar Drydown? Sounds like a perfect fragrance
But there is no cedar in the intense version.
@@aleksaradojkovic3064 You want the original Cedrat Boise.
Agreed the opening is harsh and you can’t pin point any other notes than a harsh citrus but the dry down on this thing is heavenly
I have and like this one , I’ve read that some of their fragrances are aimed at the Arabic market . That probably why I quite like this one as I’m a fan of Arabic fragrances .
Looking forward to see Sadonasso review by you 😍
Coming soon!
Love this fragnance before watching the video
Love it, can you do MFK oud satin mood the extract de parfum newer one
How do you keep your tattoos so vibrant!? You are looking great bro
Can you give us a video of your top 5 fresh/summer fragrances?
I find it very similar to Amouage Opus VII. Had a sample, loved it and now just ordered the perfume.
Thanks! Please review La Nuit De L’Homme eau de Parfum
Aaron can you compare 3 versions of Club de nuit intense cuz I trust you the most 😂
Aaron please review the original PDM Layton 👌🏼🙌🏼
Hey aaron,
Love your videos
What mic 🎤 do you use?
Love Mancera, My fav is Red Oud tobacco and Oud Lemon mint.
I like your Hair 🥰
$115 for the 60ml on twisted lily
I would see you reviewing Nishane Kredo
For your 100k sub video, please get one of those 7.5ml of Roja haute luxe which has gold flakes in it.
A few weeks ago, when looking at my collection, I found it to be very cool and cold weather fragrance heavy. I only had two or three to use when it got to the warm months (and those are really year rounders that I use almost exclusively in warm months). That's why I went and bought Cedrat Boise over Intense Cedrat Boise. Cedrat Boise is great in warm and hot weather, strong, but not overly so. The Intense version is way too strong for summer, IMO.
I agree
It's good for night wear in the summer, I think.
Best fragrance I’ve ever smelled in my life. Can’t imagine not loving this
For some reason all the reviews I've watched on this channel he gives the fragrances 8/10 and I've watched a lot of his videos
Many of his reviews will garner scores between 6-10 based on his rubric for scoring. He gives each fragrance points based of factors such as if they are safe, legal and compliant (so that’s automatically 2 points right there for every fragrance) as well as technical ability, price point, and whether or not he personally enjoys the fragrance. This means that almost every fragrance will get at least a 6. With that in mind, that would mean the average score for most fragrances would likely fall around 8, so it makes sense that you are seeing that score a lot.

Bleu de Chanel Parfum 10

IFRA can kick rocks. IFRA ensures a great way to make a potentially awesome frag much less awesome.
I have no problem with labeling. -and if you can't wear it, wear something else.
I was looking to buy some of your fragrances, any recommendations on what to try first?
Can you review Chanel Coromandel and Frederic Malle Music for a while Please!
Eau Des Sense - clean, easy to love, creative.
I agree with You on this one. This flanker is totally useless because it’s so similar to the original Cedrat Bois EDP. Waist of money!
I really appreciate the perspective of someone who knows what he's talking about. So many reviewers just read the promotional material.
Ive just bought a partial of this off of ebay, it smells great but i feel the projection or performance is very low, yet everywhere i look people say it has good performance. Starting to wonder if i have a dud?
One of my summer signature scents. ♥
Honestly can't do any boring freshies like YSL Y or ADG Profumo, so this one is right up my alley! Catering to Niche noses like myself.
This one has Leather, Woods and even a bit of Oud which makes this so unique and sexy for a Summer scent.
Since we are in the frag community n I highly doubt much people will be seeing this in my area bc I live in yeeyee nc, my summer rotation is going to be Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver, Rasasi Hawas, and Mancera’s Intense Cedrat Boise. For the days when it’s like 75°F or less I might bust out Valentino’s Uomo Born in Roma Intense or PDM Layton but I will say the original Born in Roma is more versatile and could be used more in the summer than the intense version.
Profumo and boring freshie in the same sentence is insane💀
@@Acore-ly9qx salty and marine....yea literally the epitome of boring.
Aaron, how can I get your fragrances here in Portugal? Thank you
interessantes Video hat sich herausgestellt
Can this be pulled off as a summer club scent or would it be too much?
review citizen jack pls!!
Oh how I love your sly little shady comments and looks, so subtle as to be nearly imperceptible. But only nearly, because I, too, am a sarcastic Unicorn and I love it! I can tell in the first few seconds where we are going. 🤣🤣
Mancera: 'Known for using refined ingredients'. ATH: Eh. Mancera: 'Wild oak moss'. ATH: 'Mmm 🙄'.
Curious to know which quinolines are used in, not pyr o secondary
I thought I was going to wear SpiceBomb EDT to the office today. I just may wear this.
ik you hate lowering the quality of what you sell but will you ever make a more affordable line for your fragrances?
Try mancera melody of the sun or Aqua di gio absolu
Geordie Chris❤🙏
Does anyone know why there’s so many editing blips in so many videos, even mid sentence sometimes ?? I don’t understand it.
Can you explore the boadicea animals. Aurica, hanuman, tiger etc. want to see if it’s worth the 900£ price tag
You can get the samples on website cheap
Question. How do you really call if a perfume is oil based? Like are perfumes that are in a spray bottle considered oil based? Cause from what I know, oil based perfumes are the dabbers one. People always say their perfumes are oil based when in fact you see a 70 vol on the box? That'a alcohol right😅
What about the ordinary Cedrat Boise?
It happens it is an EDP, not an Extrait. The front label says extrait, but if you look into the bottle concentration is an eau de parfum. I felt kinda disappointed on that
Real talk can somone with a magnetic version of a mancera bottle measure the cap for me? im trying to find out whether or not mine is genuine
I’ve been meaning to ask this for some time. When a note is described as being “on top” of a formulation or “at the base” what does that mean in terms of building the compound? I get that the notes stand out at different times, but how is that process accomplished? I’m fascinated by the chemistry.
ambroxan (or ambery smell) as a molecule is just structured in a fashion that our nose takes in as a “heavy” smell that our nose will pick up regardless, so it just makes sense to add lighter characterizing qualities on top of this strong “base” to give it a unique mixed scent after your nose has become anosmic to the overwhelming base
Wild Oakmoss as opposed to domesticated
I tried it and the regular cedrat… the intense last like forever!!! You feel like fresh although out the day. The regular cedrat boise performance is already good but this one is on another citrus level!!!!
I’m struggling to buy here in UK, I purchased in harrods and selfridge but i saw online a bit cheaper but hopefully they would lower the price online ….. you can’t get wrong with this intense version….
Even if you spray all over your shirt or body it suits in all areas, work anywhere in my opinion.
Notino
I love the original Cedrat Boise and it's the one I use as a throw on most often out of everything in my collection. I got the Intense version and I just found it so intensely woody that I actually find myself going blind to it, which I just don't get with any other perfume I own. It feels like something I would be all over and yet, I was disappointed when I first wore it. Maybe it works better in the heat? But if that is the case then to me it doesn't work as an all rounder as much as the original Cedrat Boise does.
Yeah I agree with you mate, the original for me is the finer of the two.
Agree. The original is more versatile and fresher
Wore the intense for the first night and got 4 compliments from 4 different females. It’s a beautiful fragrance, ig some people scenes aren’t mature enough idk.🤷♀️
@@Jadifi Oh others can smell it on me, but I wear perfumes for me not others and I I go blind to it so fast I don't get to enjoy it so seems pointless to wear it.
Are the latest batches of cedrat boise (og) just as good as the original ones or has it been reformulated?
That's a original fragrance ever ❤
If my colognes ethyl maltol isn't whipping through the base...then I don't want it
Do you have customers or shops you send in Russia? I would love to try yours. I find your taste in perfumery similar to mine in most of your marks I do feel the same. Like Pardon you described I wore it for a bit then gave it to my man because I just love it soooooo much. And this one I got as a thank you from some shop I got my purchases and I feel it is like Lacosta in a way not cheap, but just kind of blend not interesting. I really love Le Labo Baie 19. I wore it at the gym in NZ. It's just perfect for a hot day in humid climate.
Essex
It's my scent of the day
I didnt like Credrat Boise as well! But based on what he said, I took my cheapie Alexandria Black Panther and Layered over it. The citrus heavy fragrance, went so well with Credrat Boise
Whenever you have the chance, could you talk a bit about the differences between Timbersilk and ISO E Super? I keep hearing perfumers say things like "Timbersilk...i.e. Iso E Super" misleading people to think of them as indistinguishably similar, and that's just plain untrue (in my nose anyway). For one Timbersilk is nowhere near as palatable in high amounts as Iso E Super; you really have to measure Timbersilk in relation to other materials carefully or the formulation becomes vomitous and astringent. It is more _Ambergris_ than Amber (wood), IMO. I just see why no one points this out.
Your hair piece looks great on you
I'm not sure exactly what it note is but alot of "fresh floral" perfumes have a Grapefruit note that smells like bitter soap. And i hate it. YSL (which i usually love) Mon Paris has this burt bitter Grapefruit smell that isn't noticeable when smelled on the sample paper, but on my skin is the only thing i can smell. I hate it.
aarons doing very well rather than really well, whats the catch?
Hello, hope all is well. I'm looking to buy a mens cologne and my prince range is $180 and below. I'm looking for a masculine, long lasting, good projection and all seasons type of cologne what would you recommend?
Dior Sauvage EDP or PDM Layton ( 75 mL)
@@josipklaric Thank you
@@Rambo4President Thank you
Just get one of Aaron's. Guapo is great all rounder. So many great choices.
Fragrance notes on many packagings/descriptions are difficult, because you can never really tell if every note refers to a specific ingredient, or just to a compounded impression "note" that the perfumer wanted to create from a combination of ingredients...
Like, here, "wild oakmoss" I'd have no clue if it actually means the juice of wild-harvested oakmoss, or if it's a fancy description of a scent the creator of this wanted to inspire and allude to using god-knows-what.
It’s just marketing
Thanks, Aaron. I have the original Cedrat Boise, I am a big fan of Mancera fragrances. I think one of the better citrus parfumes out there is Mancera Sicily. Have you tried that?
If so, can you review it, kind sir, I will check to see if you have. Thanks for the review.
You give something a 6️⃣. I am strongly thinking about buying it. You give it an 8️⃣ it's boy stop playing. I am about to purchase it now.
Thanks!
Don’t like either. Absolutely agree.
I didnt like this fragrance and i blind bought it. It smells like its made for someone much older and i am 26 just could not enjoy it but i gave it a go. I wore it for a month and ended up giving it to my dad he is in he’s 50’s i feel like the scent suits him much better.
I believe Lyral was removed from Aventus, and it all went downhill since
Have never tried this. Have the original but the performance is very disappointing.
