I bought regular Cedrat Boise for less than 60 USD, so in comparison with 200 USD I don't find it "obsolete"...on top of that it lasts like 10 hours on my skin already. In terms of quality...perhaps. Thanks for the video Ash.

My cedrat Boise EDP gets smokey and I can totally see the aventus vibe people get from it. The beginning though smells like fruity pebbles cereal or something along those lines. Great frag and for me does a 180 from the opening

I have to be careful even with the original in warmer clients; it's easy to overspray. I would think you would need a very restrained hand to use the intense in a tropical climate unless you want to become *that* guy.

To my nose original MCB smells like burnt citrus caramel candy and it stays on my skin 2 hours only then transforms into weird animalic smell. Longevity extremely bad. No dry down. Got mine from certified online seller. I'm using mine as toilet refresher. And yet Fragrantica community compares it to Creed Aventus which is pure nonsense to me. But I would give a shot to this new version of MCB.
To tell the truth . Dior Eau Sauvage Edt is the best bergamot scent on the planet. This fragrance is the paralel to Creed Aventus just instead of Pinapple there is Bergamot. Dior eau sauvage edt not edp ! This is together with creed aventus are the best fragrances for men.
The OG is not screechy.The Intense version does not mention fruity notes. I love the fruitiness and balance of the OG. This Intense version sounds more like a flanker doing it’s own thing rather than the OG on steroids.
People that say it is a skin sent after a hour or so are insane. They go nose blind to it. I have sprayed my clothes and gotten a complement on how I smell two days later when I threw the shirt on to run to the gas station lol.
If you are in the market to buy only one niche fragrance around the same price tag which would you buy? Cedrat Boisee Intense, Interlude Black Iris, BDK Gris Charnel Extrait or Mizensir Perfect Oud? Also interested in Mancera Red Tobacco but that one I could pick up for way cheaper than the others.

Also, I just tested it again - it sits VERY oily on my skin, feels oily on touch, the bottle is nice and clean, there are no spelling mistakes or something suspicious with the packaging, when you shake it the bubbles disappear quickly, but ... 20 mins after its a very weak skin scent :) I guess I'll just leave it to macerate and see what happens :)

Some clowns on Fragrantica did label it 'animalic'. I bought two bottles for $112 each when it came out. It's a great year-round fragrance.

Definitely. My bottle that I bought in November 2020 has terrible performance. Literally a skin scent within 2 hours.
It goes back further, I have got a bottle from 2018 and another from 2019 and both last 2 hours.

The more the alcohol more the projection. In parfum fragrance oil is more, as compared to edp and edt and less alcohol.

Might be a dud, I don’t pick up any of those notes that you mentioned. Got complimented a few times when I’ve worn mine.
