Thank you so much for this! I couldn't get any power on my backhand like I used to. I watched your video last weekend and realized my takeback was stopping at my hips. I played last night and made sure I turned my shoulders more and took my racquet back further. My beautiful backhand is back! I'm finally putting some zip on the ball. Just like old times!
this is a great tip - i m an ambi left handed , switched from one to two handed backhand, though i can generate same power from right hsnd as well but this helped a lot . thanks Nadeem
I think too many coaches make out the left hand creates all the power and this results in incomplete shoulder turn. Nalbandian is clear his power comes from the right, left gives the control.
Excellent coaching tips from Nadim

+nadia venturi Thank you, Nadia!
Thx Florian... after studying your video I realize that the 2HBH is a mirror image of the golf swing

GREAT LESSON MR. FLORIAN. THANK YOU!
Good point, in-out swing pattern and body following through with pivot on lead leg also important for weight on this stroke from what I've seen.
+Dennis G - Thanks Dennis and yes there are more aspects to the two hander. I just try to focus on one major technical element at a time
Good explanation! Really helped me allot. Also- props for the Fed hat!
Thanks!

trunk hip rotation timed as one with the arm movement
instead of an isolated arm action like a baseball player

I think Andy Murray has the most solid two handed backhand
great point, Nadim.
What hand is driving, the Right or the Left ? (for Right handed player)
