As cancer ascendant with saturn in 9th house, i wanted to explore astrology and occult more but bcs of needing to study hard for a competitive exam for post grad i delayed that, since saturn started retrograde i studied tarabala, kp system and cusp lord and sub lord predictive technique,... But i still have to focuse on my exam
Nope. They're not same things. Ascendant is the first house whereas moon sign is where moon is located... If it is in scorpio sign we call it scorpio rashi...
It's both. What is applicable for ascendant is to a great degree applicable to moon sign. For some rashis, I have made specific prediction based on natal moon's position alone. Like Sade sati or Ashtam Shani. Hope this clarifies.

For some zodiac signs aspect themes were overlapping, hence felt it would be better to cover the broader points instead of going deep. Moreover, things just floww... I've discovered that drawing on intuition while speaking has more effect than planning - which will make astrologers conscious and make them consider all things cardinal.

With the information provided, things don't look very good. I would have analyse the whole chart. Where is your venus placed?
