I'm so proud to've been born; to 've lived in the most scenically beautiful City in the World - Vancouver. Now, am especially grateful to be livin' nearby in one of most scenically beautiful smaller cities in the world - Victoria. "A lot of gratitude" over my 76-yrs.
So fun fact: The tall narrow building shown in the very beginning of the video, the Empire Landmark hotel, I stayed there on the very last day of its operation back in September 2017. I just remember waking up the next morning and getting a letter under the door that read “We hope you enjoyed your stay, but after today the Empire Landmark hotel will be closing forever”. Weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced.
Another fun fact. I went to Cloud Nine, the revolving restaurant on the last night it was open for a few martinis. I was the last guest to be served a drink at Cloud Nine. Later, in the following months, I watched them demolish the building.
Yes🎉Vancouver college years when capilano college was abunch of trailers with a couple of nice buildings and walk trails to get everywhere in the woods ..I lived on Indian Arm 👌 was so cool 😎
I lived in an apartment at 18th and Lonsdale in N Van around this time and ended up at 21st and Lonsdale in another apartment for a brief period. Awesome times...
Thank you for sharing. I live in Vancouver and I recognize most everything. I even saw my apartment building in your footage.
What street do you live on in Vancouver?😊
Good old days 💕
Awesome memories of the time I was living in North Vancouver for a few months back in the 80‘s ! 😊❤ Greetings from Switzerland

It’s blowing my mind how vintage this is, but also realizing that I was almost 8 at the time. Great footage of a pre Expo Vancouver
Great footage 👏 👍 👌 🙌
