Nice! You will not regret it. You do not need a permit to spearfish or to own a speargun in Norway. Spearing in march is a bit hard but it is not impossible.

It is filmed from June to August. We have 7mm open-cell wetsuits. Yes, we do go under the bridge at high tide, and the current is super strong :)
