@@worldboatskiff8709 Thanks for this amazing contribution. If you are interested, I also did a 30 episode build of Earl Brockway's 16 foot skiff on my channel. It includes a tutorial on how to determine safe loading, safe power, level flotation and the coast guard sticker for flat bottom boats.
That gray looks really nice. Does it give a lot of reflection in the sunlight or is it pretty easy on the eyes in bright light? Good looking boat. Thanks for sharing your build.
The main differences are higher sides, much more framing, a bow cover, at least one thwart/seat/fish box/storage area. Thwart is near where the forward end of the straight part of the boat. Designed and evolved for the rough waters outside and beach launching thru breaking surf......Actually there are readily available plans. The Glen-L Little Hunk and Hunky Dory are proper Oregon Dories/PC Dories. Just install the slats on the bottom on the inside do the boat will slide up on the beach when landing.
The building plans are now available at etsy.me/3uOYRO8

Excellent build series. Will you be showing an on-water demonstration? I would love to see how she gets up on plane.
Definitely still doing some painting on the exterior and get my other boat painted.
