Thank you, about 5 months ago i got into a snowmobile accident and hyperextended my back and later found out I fracture the L5 of my spine. Thank you for your knowledge.
I have had pars defect for about 2 years. I am a collegiate athlete and I get epidural injections at least once every year. Every time I get the injection on the corresponding side that the pain is, the pain then shifts to the other side. Any explanation for this?
Sorry to hear about your Father, you might find this video much more helpful for you and your father :) backinshapeprogram.com/2023/02/diagnosed-with-spondylolisthesis-causing-back-pain-or-sciatica/
I am 45 and I have L5 S1 with pars defect and I am going to have surgery. What is the surgery like and recovery. I also have heart problems as well. Connery arthritis diseases.
Typically if you have a spondylolisthesis - I’d assume it would be a fusion to stabilise the segment. You’ll need to do proper rehab like the sort that our members do in backinshapeprogram.com
@@BackInShapeProgram thanks for the answer😃 i was just wondering what you meant with long term. Is that some years or months? I have a soccer season in about 5 months? Do you think i will be ready and healthy if i do the right excersices ?😃
Thank you, very well said. I have BPD in the L5 for 30 years, however in the past 10 years I haven’t had any problems with it like I did when I was younger. Do you know why now I haven’t had any issues for 10 years?
My son is a 16 yrs Fast Baller Playing Cricket. He is having pars Intercularis L5 S1.and MRI is showing Spondylolisthesis .He is having 90% pain relief now after Rest of 2 months can we start with rehab. Please give opinion
In 2018, I had bent over to pick up something from the floor. I found out from that, that I had a PARS 5 defect and it's been there since I was a child around age 14. The trauma I received at 14 was failing down stairs and I had to walk with a walker for several weeks. Nothing was done at the time of my fall. It was a relative house and they thought I was faking it and so did my parents. No idea why, but no doctor or medical treatment was done. Just suck it up and live with it. In 2018, I was getting out of bed and picked something off the floor. Something snapped and I was taken to the hospital and given meds and sent to a specialist. Specialist informed me that it was from younger age and parts are broken. Insurance told me to do physical therapy and this happened 3 times. I was denied any actual treatment options except to exercise. 2 years I've been suffering nothing but pain. I can't get any doctor to listen to me. My back pops a lot, about twice a week, and it's excruciating pain. I can hardly walk, typically less than 10 minutes at most. I lose feeling a lot in my thighs and legs and doctors keeps telling me I'm making it up. How do I get the doctors in my area to listen to me and correct the issue? The physical therapy exercises actually increases the pain. How else can I get back to normal without surgery as doctors aren't listening to me at all.
Sorry to hear that you've been struggling, i think the best thing we can suggest is this video: ruclips.net/video/wQxlUT-t8yk/видео.html I hope it helps you and give you a bit of direction going forwards.
