Something I've always loved about K/DA is just how dense their stuff is. So much happening with the percussion, the base, keyboards and vocals. Multiple layers on top of layers. Backing vocals an octave up, etc. And yet... it manages to not feel muddy at all. You can still hear all the parts going on and it just feels filled out and powerful. The producers on this stuff are really really good.
Honestly it's insane. Every layer your dig into reveals three more. And the visuals are the same. For as complex as it is, it's all technically immaculate. Shocking level of skill demonstrated pulling this all together.
KDA loves using “Hey”s in the background every now in then, in most of their songs. ________________________________________ You should definitely react to their first song “Popstars” it’s their most popular one, but my favorite one is “More”.
Absolutely. That song.....as a League player who started in 2013, the day that POP/STARS came out will always be the beginning of a new age for the narrative I enjoyed as I continued letting the hupe wash over me. I put POPS/STARS on repeat for....weeks. I took breaks from my usual playlists just to listen to it, watch reaction videos of it, watch the "live" performance. I was beyond hooked. I had evolved into an Evelynn main before that song came, and I hadn't even realized it yet. K/DA brought new life into a game I had been used to for years.
@@HarleySB I actually only started playing League because of KDA. My reaction to it was much like yours. I would listen to it all the time and this went on for about..3-5 months? I can’t even tell you the amount of reaction videos I’ve watched. But KDA didn’t only open a door to League, but also to kpop. And when I started playing league…we’ll I was hooked. It was mainly the lore, but I still played a match of Aram every now and then. I know all of their songs, by memory. And I’m an Ahri main.
The thing about catching stuff like K/DA when the songs were revealed is that, if you rock with the story and universes Riot comes up with, you can be HIGH on the feeling of involvement and admiration. This video was Seraphine's exposition as the new member of K/DA. The comments, the Twitter account, the hints....it all lead up to this video- small time girl loves to sing, getting to join with her idols to do the thing she loves most. I know she, and Rito got a lot of shite for that arc, but I give in to the story. I get the enjoyment of a bitchin' narrative.
Kda more is just awesome 😍 i can recommend: KDA - The Baddest KDA - Pop Stars Live and Blackpink- Pretty Savage Everglow- First Loona - PTT Izone - Secret Story of the Swan The Boyz- Reveal (Catching Fire)
League of legends also has a metal band called Pentakill. You should checkout their Mortal Reminder song. They are releasing new song soon, id be glad to see your take on it.
Duuuuude. If your come from metal, you MUST react to PENTAKILL!!!! To this day, I'll end up listening to Tear of the Goddess, Cull, and Ohmwrecker over and over a whole day. Shite is tooooooooo damn good. Putting off listening to the just released album....worried it can't be as good as the old stuff.
I want to second this and qualify Dreamcatcher as Rock infused "Kpop" since their title tracks cover a wide range of Rock influences (from Metal to Rock/EDM to Symphonic Rock). I recommend starting with either 'Chase Me/Good Night' (Metal influenced) which is their first 2 songs (they are a set) and the start of their Nightmare series of songs. Or Starting with 'Scream' (EDM mixed with Rock) which is the start of their Dystopia Triology (followed by 'BOCA' and 'Odd Eye')! Or if you want a heavier Metal/J-rock song listening to 'Endless Night' or 'No More'
Yea KDA - Popstars and True Damage - giants as well as a catologe of league songs I can't recall right now at least name wise XD but hope u get round to all of them they have some bangers one them also being Rise (that's the song title no band name so but in league of legends rise to find it does have a music video)
the villain song make you feel like dark but when you watch this MORE you can see they have a color from Villain because this song come out first before Villain
KDA is very cool concept that worked very well with their music. Deffently one of my fav. albums of this year. You did you liked metal also, reccomend checking out Babymetal. Babymetal created their own genre called Kawaii Metal and used it with other genres of music. They also work very hard at what they do like doing back to back shows with little to no repeats, each song having its own coreo, and doing special songs that ever happened once. I will put 1 here if you would want to react to it. If you do react to it I reccomend watching the intro part with the first part and when the main singer "Sumetal rises," then switch to the second video posted here for full translation that was done by Japanese Native speaker. Also, I put 1 of their most famous songs here called Headbanger where it is very unique too. These songs right here shouldn't have any copyright issues but they do, put their logo name over the video with certain amount of the video showing. This channel should help with that and show how to react to their videos not on RUclips since trolls destroyed them. Hope you enjoy it and when you do post any video on them I reccomend reading the comments, the Babymetal community loves to help. Babymetal Rondo Of Nightmare Intro Part: ruclips.net/video/8WBDiLMNZcE/видео.html Translation Part: ruclips.net/video/7q34G_VTnb8/видео.html Babymetal Headbanger: ruclips.net/video/I2vuKOmd1js/видео.html Babymetal Resource channel, information in the description of that video: ruclips.net/video/q40VmTHSh4c/видео.html Reccomend searching up these songs meaning, afterwards since they do lots of deep meaning to their songs usually in some way. Headbanger version of this song will not have subtitles due to no version with it available. Hope you enjoy it.
If you would like to react to a new act you may not have heard before, I would recommend listening to Aesthetic Perfection with their song Supernatural
gotta Gotta GOTTA check out their debut video *POP/STARS* , it's f-ing incredible, trust me (much better than MORE imho)! ruclips.net/video/UOxkGD8qRB4/видео.html and for a jaw-dropping rap check out their *THE BADDEST* official lyric video: ruclips.net/video/RkID8_gnTxw/видео.html
Just an idea for another kpop band to check out: Stray Kids. This is a boyband consisting of 8 members (initially there were 9, but one left the band). They are special because they write and produce their songs themselves (well, most of the songs) and they experiment with different sounds that I'd never think would fit to a track like this :) Their newest song with an mv: 'Thunderous' Other songs to check out in the beginning of the Stray Kids journey: 'God's Menu' and 'Back Door'
Check out KDA's PopStars. It has more than 480,000,000 views: ruclips.net/video/UOxkGD8qRB4/видео.html League of Legend's heavy metal band Pentakill: ruclips.net/video/5-mT9D4fdgQ/видео.html and their hiphop group True Damage: ruclips.net/video/sVZpHFXcFJw/видео.html

@@Ninjump And that's not even getting into the visuals, which are just as talented. Seriously... so impressed with every aspect of this.

He is a pop producer/reactor he will never react to that🤦
