When you link to the tb-3 for instance with the midi cable, it automatically sends the clock signal. With other synths you just need to check if the midi channels for sending and receiving midi are matching and sometimes specify in the slave synth that you want to get the external clock.
Hi David, you can set the sequencer to keep playing also without touching the keyboard by connecting the microbrute to the computer and use its software you can download from Arturia website. There are other things you can set from there.
