Thanks for your contribution to my dryer's well-being. It took me a few tries with less helpful videos that gavbe me the general idea, but having access to a DLEX2501 tutorial made life very much better. I appreciate you going to the effort.
I have a question. I replaced the roller berries twice and they’ve only lasted maybe a month and it’s squeaking again. Do you think there can be some damage to the housing or something only the back wheels that keep messing up for some reason
How about doing this, & that, or a posting whatever link. Holy Shi#!, what happened to being thankfull for taking the time for the video. Thank You, your posting is very helpfull!
Doubtful that replacing the rollers will solve the heating problem. It could be a bad thermistor or the heating elements themselves. I haven’t haven’t had to troubleshoot a heating problem so don’t have any tips for doing so. Sorry.
Thanks for the video! My dryer is making the same noise. The shaft that the drum rollers spin on looks like it had oil/lube applied to it, do you think I should re-apply oil/lube on the shaft when I fix my dryer this weekend?
Very detailed, I need to fix my dryer. My dryer is an LG gas dryer "DLGX3701V". I did not see this one in the list but did see DLGX3701W. Do you think this repair kit will work with my dryer? Thanks
Sorry… I can’t think of a particular reason off the top of my head. 🤷🏻♂️ I posted that video at least two years ago and barely remember doing the work. 😎
@@HacksbyDad yes they seemed good. I think I got it. When I put everything back on and reassembled it the roller seemed to fit. I thought it would fit snug without everything back on so it confused me
Hi there! Just so you know, I’m not an expert with dryers. With that out of the way, I would verify that the drum rollers all spin freely if you haven’t already done so. Next would be the motor and belt. Those are the only moving parts that I can think of. Hope this helps. 😎
How about a video doing the exact same repair with the belt and the rollers on a Kenmore elite dryer? Just a thought because the LG is not the only dryer made, have a great day and thank you for showing us how to do our own repairs and save money in this economy! God bless and stay safe :)
Sorry... but I don't have a Kenmore dryer. I mainly do repairs on stuff around my home and sometimes for family and friends. Thanks for watching the video and commenting. 😎
Video was pretty good until it got to the rear rollers. He did not show how he replaced them. That's the hardest part. There is very little room behind them to get a wrench or socket back there. I am going to go look for someone's video that shows that.
LOL! Yeah... someone else pointed that out too. What can I say 🤷🏻♂️ ... I had a brain fart and didn't video the actual roller replacements. Maybe I'll tear down dryer again and redo the video. 😎
It was pretty simple to figure out. The ones in the rear have a gap where u can fit a 14mm 🔧 to hold it while u loosen it, then just replace and I used to old washers but everything else new
One of the rollers on the front u have to take off the metal part to covers one of the 14mm nuts but it only takes two small screws to get free. Easy peezy

Best video out there!! Thank you so much! You helped me fix my mom’s dryer!
👍😎
Thank you for making this video. One of my bulkhead drum roller bearings was so worn that all that was left was a pile of metal shavings.
Glad it helped!
😎
Thank you for this!!!! Was able to do myself because of this video

Awesome video, made it a 30 minute job. Many thanks
Thanks! Glad you found the video helpful. 😎
Thankyou sir! My dad and I fixed ours because of this video!
Glad to hear it! 👍😎
Best version of this fix out there! Great work man
Thanks! Much appreciated! 😎
Wow those are so much more involved to disassemble than older models.
Thank you brother , very helpful

Thanks, my dryer is nice and quiet now!
Thanks! Glad to hear that the video was helpful.
Any ideas how to change back rollers?
Yea wondering the same without pulling out whole dryer. Got the front done.

Thanks for this - mine is making the noise and also not heating. Would replacing the rollers get that heating element back on? Maybe after a reset?

You shouldn't need to lube the new rollers. They come pre-lubed. Hope your project goes well.

@@HacksbyDad Thanks for the reply! I was actually kinda stressing over it too.
Will this kit work for the DLEX 2655V?
Yes, it should. There is a list of compatible LG dryers and DLEX2655V is on the list.

Sorry… I don’t know. I suggest you look up the parts listing for both models and see if the rollers are the same. 😎
Mine sounds like this but actually turns off. Do you think this will help or other issues?
It turns off? 😳
Does the drum stop spinning? Does an error code appear on the display?
Now when I put the drum roll back on it doesn’t sit up properly on the new rear wheels. Please help!
Sorry… I can’t think of a particular reason off the top of my head. 🤷🏻♂️

just ordered the kit from your limk.
Thanks! Hope the replacement goes well. 😎
Good video
Thanks! I appreciate the kind feedback!

I don't know what's going on with today's parts but my dryer for 25 years never had a noisy bearing. These days, it's noisy in 2.
Hey I don’t know if you’re still responding but hi anyway:) my dryer is making a train like sound when it runs. Do you have any idea what it could be?

How about a link to the kit you purchased?

man great video but why didnt you record the replacement of the actual parts instead of just saying they were replaced ....
Sorry... I didn't think much about it. 🤷🏻♂️
Brain fart I guess.

Looks easy … I bought a new one 😂

All dryers brand made these part very bad quality , replaced them every 1 years on my dryer !

How to replace the drum rollers doesn’t show any of that. Misleading title. How were the front and rear rollers replaced?
