The CJ Pony Parts and Steeda videos were worthless. Never thought I would get these in until I saw your video. The key for me was to get the bottom bolt in first and then the top. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.
100% the correct way to install these. I thought I was boned since prying did not work for some reason. Should be noted: it is way easier to do this WITHOUT the top bolt in. Once the bottom is threaded down most of the way you can lower it to line up the top end then simply "roll" the assembly forward and it'll line it. After figuring this out it took me 20 minutes to install my second link, which included taking the wheel off.
THANK GOD I watched your video. My first mod on my 2020 GT was the vertical links. Using a jack to gently align the holes made the job VERY easy. I Installed the top bolt first (don't know if if really makes a difference) and then took my time and very slowly jacked up the lower control arm till the bottom holes lined up. The first one took 30 minutes.... I had to figure it out... the 2nd one took 10 minutes.
I literally spent 3 hours trying to get the first side to line up before I found your video. Less than 30 minutes from start to finish to put the other side after I did it this way.
The best video I've seen on the installation of vertical links...THANK YOU ... Because American muscle and CJ pony did not mention jacking up the suspension.😊👍🏽
Just love your Mustang man! I probably asked you this at some point but do you have a list of all the mods you did to this? You probably have a video showing all of them right? Thanks a lot man! I found one just like your (Blue from 2017) and everything in me wants to but it :)
I got the driver's side done. But, on the passenger side I can install the lower bolt or the upper bolt but not both. I think my driveway is not level.
Planing on installing Steda Vertical links on my 2016 GT , how do you like them, can you tell that the wheel-Hop is not as bad now .? Is it stiff in the turn's .?
If you have just the vertical links, it is BETTER, not perfect. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy them. I plan to buy the cradle lockout soon. No change in NVH. You will get a slight creak over bumps with the spherical bushings as the rubber bushings would simply absorb everything

Where is the lift point when you use the jack?
TORQUE!!! THE BOLT’S. GREAT VIDEO.😎🙏🇺🇸
Ive been fighting one side for at least 1 hour until i saw this. Boom. Done in minutes. Thanks.
Glad I found this. I used a friend's lift but 25 minutes, both sides done! Thank you for confirming what I thought watching the other guys video.

Thanks for the insight. It was extremely frustrated and worried I was going to strip the bolt out. Jacked it up went right in.!!!!
Great video. Such a simple job. I had same problem till I thought of using a jack. Nothing else worked. Wish I had seen your video first.

You are a life saver
Did you have to get an alignment done after replacing the vertical links?
Bro, thank you some much
Cry bar, yeah that is probably right lol.
You think this applies to 2019? I'm going to do mine this weekend and I will included in my video

They help with deflection and wheel hop
