Finally, it took me about 13 hours in total to pass this level. But I was curious to check all possible paths, path A & B and all possible paths (most often ended with death 😅). With the remaining levels, I feel it will be even more fun. But that's true - the more I check and feel what awaits me next door, the more I want to😁
Yeah 'Parkour' is quite merciless but the new ones in the making (Tricknassium 2 & Laberynthian) will be even harder I believe. Back to this mod though, just wait until you reach the future levels. Especially Ruins 1 (weaponless lots of parkour) and the Temple ones. Exploration is optional, but it usually rewards with health potions.
I was able to visit "path B" a bit and I am shocked what may await me on the next levels. It is certain that many hours will pass before I know all the ways, but I will do it with pleasure❤️
Oh hey sorry for not answering 😆. I do path A most of the time. It tendsto be quicker. You can go back to the central HUB after picking up Life Potion A1 and finish the level trough B, where another Life Potion awaits. It's not necessary, but since players do like exploring sometimes..
If you climb down from a walled tile, the prince will simply fall down without any change in direction. If you draw and sheathe your sword immediately after (or just before completing the animation) the prince will move backwards and, If you are close to an edge, not only will he will fall but will do so while moving towards the tile below the one where he started. This works for both walled and hollow spaces. *Notice I did this trick half a tile away from the edge to make it work*
Ohh there are softwares for that: apoplexy and roomshaker. They let you come up with a different map layouts and sometimes map types per level (i.e. 14 temple levels).
Ohh this, yeah it's a trap, a simple one but keeps the player alert all the time. *_When you draw your sword_* against an enemy *_standing right next to you_* your character will automatically try to switch places, in this case making you walk towards the spikes and die. What you must do is, as soon as you draw your sword, you must immediately (manually) switch places again (shift + left or right turn keys) This makes you invulnerable to some attacks for one second, and the animation can be canceled by switching places again (makes the prince dance 😆) or when sheathing your sword (this is also a trick I use sometimes). I'm uploading a video example for ya.
@@ZethHolyblade It really works😯 - when I finish the hardcore mod, I am happy to do parkour, but in the meantime I will have fun there too. Thanks a lot for your help 😁
It's from the PoP3D OST, the Dreamcast port. I'd give you the exact link but the guy who uploaded the song I used seems to have made his YT video private. Here's an alternative (but without the intro track) ruclips.net/video/ZZmlkqKgmBg/видео.html

Is it possible for Prince to do the trick at 1:48 but he clings on the tile instead of falling on it

Could you give some advice on how to fight the skeleton in 0:23? I end up with spikes too many times...
