Awesome analysis as always, Mr. Mystery, Here's my Classic trifecta: Fierceness: He's got speed, he's on a roll, no stranger to the big stage. Forever Young: 6/7 lifetime: only blemish: real close 3rd in KY Derby Pyrenees: gets a piece at a price w/ capable Brian Hernandez riding Thank you! Good luck, everybody!
I picked fierceness in the Jim Dandy and won money with him... After that race I told myself that he has finally matured past the win-loss win-loss win-loss games and I felt like he would win the next race and I was going to bet on him to win... But when the Travers came around I drank the kool-aid & I talked myself off of him and went with SL... I'm not doing that again this time... I learned my lesson... FIERCENESS IS FOR REAL !!!!!
And now SL will win. LOL. I'm not picking him, but he has ran a better speed figure every race since his debut. Can he improve again and have everyone saying "Finally.... just when we gave up on him...."
@@YouDontKnow-thatI highly doubt that sir.... I don't see a way for Sierra Leone to win this race.... But I do believe SL could possibly hit the boards in the exotics
Deep closers never win at Del mar Knicks go couldnt get one mile 1/4 to save his life but won easily the year he ran fierceness daddy won the 1 mile wich was a one turn mile at churchill but his mother is out of awesome again with pat day an when he won the BC he beat the best field ever so I will say I had torpedo anna in the travers an I still thin BJ got her beat bit the fact fierceness beat her on 26 days rest i feel fierceness will run huge this day but i will be playing pyranese and highland falls aswell just because highland falls can lay close an thats the type of horse you need to win this Fierceness H falls Pyranese And arthurs ride my too 4
Really wish city of Troy would of ran in the turf. Sucks he came in as the favorite because I was hoping to get some value on him if he did run in the classic. Don’t believe he will close as the favorite though, probably behind fierceness and maybe even forever young
City of Troy, Next, Forever Young and Sierra Leone. Today, I gotta say, Newgate looked great just jogging. The commentators said he drew all the attention, just jogging. I am thinking that there will be two races... City of Troy and the others behind him. Next can run a 1 1\4 mile fast -- he has done it -- but will he at this pace? When I read that Troy has a 27-foot stride, that was my determining factor. If that is true, it is historic. If that is true, he will win.
Very interesting Classic. Hardest to handicap in many many years. When trying to pick the winner (I'm not betting exotics in the BCC), we need to find reason's to throw horses out. Of the top horses, City of Troy has the most reasons to throw him out.
City of Troy is the first horse I have ever seen that seems to have a rotary and turbo engine together as he uses the rotary engine for the first seven furlongs then goes into turbo to the winning post what a horse certainly the horse to beat come Breeders Cup Classic day end of story
MH when you called SL "the thief"..... I LAUGHED SOOOO HARD I HAD TEARS ROLLIN..... AND I'M STILL LAUGHING !!!!!!!!! too funny But I wasn't laughing in the travers when i had $1000 to win on SL..... EXHIBIT A...... "THE THIEF"
Remember, Fierceness is a hot/ cold horse, so, there could be some unpleasant and unexpected surprises. That being said, Sierra Leone, as a deep closer, let me down last time. Maybe it is better if I bet this race horizontally ( daily double- pick three), instead of horizontally ( exacta- trifecta).
I like those picks. Only one I might disagree with is COT. SL has improved every single race he's ran. If he does it again, he'll be right there at the finish. Arthur's Ride should get a clean trip and fractions shouldn't be too fast. About 5 horses "best" efforts/races so far are good enough to win the BCC. I think Arthur's Ride has the easiest path to his best race. In the JCGC, Highland Falls ran great and if he can repeat that effort, he'll be there at the end also. Not all horses are going to deliver their best effort though. Another one I like is Next. He's consistent, he's won 7 in a row, hes obliterated the field frequently. 10F is a "shorter" lol distance than he's been running at lately. Here is what I like about him. In July in a 1 3/8 mile race, he ran 1 1/4 in 2:01, then the final 1/8 in 12 seconds. That's an awesome effort and finish.
Could not disagree more with the MH on this one. (Consider it a blessing given my record -- HA!) COT is a turf horse; FY, SL are too slow. Fierceness is the only 3YO with a shot. Confident trouble will find him in a field of 14. Narrowed it to Mixto, Arthur's Ride and Newgate. Ultimately chose the Baffert. Betting the #13 horse WP.
I'll be back Saturday night to gloat over my authors ride payday and will have to(only right) throw it in your face for picking him but not picking him, lmao, good luck sir
Highland Falls is going to run them over. He is adaptable, can stay and Saez will have him in a good postion. Cox will have him cranked up. He's been looking fantastic on the Del Mar track. Let me add... I think City of Troy = ZERO CHANCE, Best of Luck.
@magapatriot3740 The fact that saez has been working him I think is a good sign. Plus it's his only horse in the race. We will see. I sure love the price
I understand City of Troy trying dirt $$$$ but boo, it's too bad he's not on the turf. I just don't see him overcoming the pace of this race, with pushback feel and dirt in the face...there's no telling how he will react...Arthur's ride and Fierceness will battle for the lead, now can Forever Young and SL catch them. This is going to be another who gets a good trip with a tightly bunched field. 9/1/11/2
Sierra Leone, to win, because if he finally wins and i didn't bet him ide be having biblical nashing of teeth. And if he lose or come close ,im use to it.. the #11 to win,it must be said.

He takes money. Once again, this race sets up well for him. I can understand staying away from him.

Baffert at 20/1. Last time out, he looked off a layoff. Good luck!
10/11/5/1😊

Who can run with authors ride on the front end ? Answer is nobody.....10-11-12 exacta box(only if they all 10-1+)
Highland Falls had no problem pressing him into the ground in the JCGC. 😀
