Rebel Red might finally be figuring it out. Did not run a step as a 3YO, has been managed deliberately/purposefully at four. Connections would not enter if they did not truly believe. The pick: #9.

Gimme the 9 & the 5 as A-types w/ Curbstone underneath. Johnny V gets longshots 2 hit the board fairly often. The 6 is a complete wild card. 9/5/1 or 5/9/1.

We can't do anything about Idiomatic not being in the race and the throwdown between she and Anna that won't happen. But, I like Anna, Raging Sea and Candied vertically. I'm not sure about how good or not the horses Awesome Result beat. I think last out was a bounce for Anna and she'll be a grizzly on Saturday. Interesting point on McPeek's bad record at Delmar. I hope the horses get a safe trip and it's an exciting and close race. What could get Anna beat tactically is Hernandez tendency to take her to the rail. Irad is crafty enough and might pull a Travers Johnny V. move. Keep up the great content M.P.!

I love DWLukas.. He is a great ambassador for the sport.. BUT, with all that early speed in the race, (Saudi Crown, etc), the race does not set up well for The Grey.. DW and JTorres is a great story but not on Saturday

Wide post is an issue for Rebel's R. Must use him early to establish stalking position or risk losing appreciable ground into the first turn. Far Bridge has excelled at four, keeps getting better. Ability to rate means they can put him anywhere. Lots of pace to his inside, so he should find the rail early. Can he outkick the Euros? At 6/1 I am willing to find out. Betting the #6 horse WP.

He doesn't need the lead. These handicappers don't give him respect. They say track bias, slow fractions, etc. Tomorrow, he empties the tank. My wife and I will be watching.

Federal Judge is in a great spot to press Raging Torrent the entire way, force the other speed wide. Makes him a reasonable choice, but keeping the bankroll holstered for this one.

Id bet the nine if I were betting. Its hard to guage horses from Europe and elsewhere, because there arent American speed figures to compare, but I think he will close with all that speed. Only thing about Cali tracks is they seem to be so much more speed biased than other tracks, so even with a hot pace, it may not mean a closer wins. Best of luck to all of you.

I would love your horse to win (and it's been fun to watch this year) but going 9/8/1...this is a wide open race...Muth just didn't run down the stretch in it's last race...I'm sure it will be positioned near the front runners but will it fire this time? STG has such heart, I just don't know if there's enough firepower here to win. Good luck to you in this race & all your bets this weekend.

Mufasa is interesting. I can forgive his 3 losses since they were out of his distance bracket [7F-8F]. Also, with this much pace, I think it might be a good setup for Post Time.

The #2 to win, not to be different,but if Churchill downs 2nd place finish had been a mile he'd have won with a good time,so I think he can hang. 👍
