- Alexander Bublik smashed three rackets as he suffered an early exit in Montpellier.

The defending champion lost the first set against Grégoire Barrère 6-4 at the Open Sud de France where he won his first ATP title. It was during the tiebreak of the second set when Bublik began to show his frustration by destroying three of his rackets on court.

Usually you get a warning, then a point penalty then a game penalty.
But I guess you can break as many rackets as you want in the same sequence and only get a warning.
One thing is sure my budget does not allow me to vent my frustration like this.

I'm not sure why they don't disqualify him from the tournament in the future. Just don't let the guy come back ever again. Children who can't manage their temper don't deserve to play in public.

@@jeffpaxton9172 Tennis is supposed to be a sport of sportsmanship. It's clearly devolved into something akin to professional wrestling. This guy doesn't belong in the sport. He belongs in a mental hospital until he can prove he's able to function in society. He certainly would not be allowed to play in a tournament I sponsored.
Many players would be banned from playing tournaments if this was the case (including Federer and Djokovic)
