Your videos are EXCELLENT!!! I am dealing with something like this due tp a shoddy builder (and buiding standards are so low that it's easy fr tyhem to do shoddy work that ends up a problem later for the homeowner) and you can't find anyone to reir it proper;y, they all cite in their liability contract that they're adhering to building standards. Your videos are brilliant!
Roof flashing details confuse people, are easy to screw up (or skip altogether), and are difficult or impossible to inspect once they're done. If someone screws you on your roof flashing, you might not notice until it has destroyed part of the building.
Another detailed and effective presentation! Anybody who owns something with a roof on top will benefit from the information here.
Great video. Very good explanation on how the step flashing needs to be installed.

Curious how you handle the flashing for monopoly framed homes. I don't recall seeing flashing details in the videos I've watched.

I actually prefer to run my roof sheathing out more, overlapping to fascia board, and butting the fascia up to the bottom of the sheathing.
