Ingredients (serving size is 3, double or triple ingredients for larger servings)
1 lb shrimp
1/2 onion
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
1 clove garlic
1 cup heavy whipping cream
4 cups water
1 cup grits
1 tablespoon salt
1 stick of butter
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup of cheese

cayenne pepper

I know I'm a couple of years late but I just made this and my husband absolutely loved it!!! I changed a couple of things around. Like I boiled my grits in chicken broth as well as water. I used old bay because I didn't have paprika. How did I not have paprika 🤦🏽♀️ outside of that I followed everything else. Thank you so much for this recipe! IT WAS FIRE!!!

I used this recipe and it came out fantastic. I didn't have any onions or peppers on hand and used spinach instead, still tasted great!

I usually add a bit chicken bullion to my boiling water and cook my grits like that....but I will definitely be trying it like this....thanks for this recipe.
I do the exact same. The bullion provides the salt and more flavor.

I'm trying this recipe for Lent,which is a couple months away. I have never been a grits fan, but a few months ago I went to a wedding and they served Shrimp and Grits. So good.
My son, who is 21, was craving shrimp and grits. He decided he wanted to try and make your recipe. He was late getting in from helping his dad all day., so I decided to surprise him and made it for us. This recipe is absolutely fabulous. I made it just like you did. I was so quick and easy. The taste was perfection. Thank you for sharing your recipe. This won't be the last time I make it.

It's 10am and my mouth is watering for your dish... Looks awesome and looking forward to trying the shrimp. I agree with you 100% on the grits. Cheesey grits are the bomb. Great with a blackened fish or scallops. I recently got turned on to a seasoning called "slap ya mama" cajun seasoning original blend. I love this stuff on shrimp.

When I say I made this and it came out so great .. like fr shrimp was on point tender not over cooked I added bacon to mines and crumble it on top. Lord your recipe is the bomb 💣

I always put a bay leaf or two in the water for the grits, I think it really improves the flavor. Just fish it out of the cooked grits before you plate everything up.

Omg! I woke up CRAVING this AND YOU SAVED THE DAY! Other than using Old Bay Seasoning (my personal fav) instead of Tony's your ingredients and prep are SPOT ON & bowl was licked clean!!😋 Oh I also found out a tiny bit of soy sauce and just a splash of apple cider vinegar works if you don't have Worstishire sauce, who knew.
