      @slipknnnot Thanks, my brother! The 750 is such an awesome machine, but you're going to be over the moon after you install that quick shifter! Happy and safe riding. Keep me posted on the install if you don't mind. 😎

    Impressive.
    Always love to see people like yourself who dare to do these kinds of upgrades all by themselves.
    I likely would not feel comfortable doing more than oil changes, chain tightening, etc...
    Great job !!

    Thanks for the video. It’s nice to see the upgrades you have done. I already added your mods. I was quoted $1800 with a discount from Glen Burnie motor where I purchased mine 750 and I decided that I would try to install it myself one day. I see we are in the same area which is nice 😂. I watch all your videos. Please keep posting! I may need your help

      @davidoshin08 Absolutely, my man! Thanks for the feedback. We are definitely in the same neck of the woods. I would love to see the bike, link up for a ride, or assist with your mods installs. Thanks for the support, and stay safe out here in the DMV 🫡

    People I must say that I am very pleased with the Translogic QSXI Quickshifter! I already loved my 750, but this quickshifter has changed the game. The bike is so much more fun to ride, I literally cannot get enough. I hope you find the video useful. Hit me with any questions. Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.

    Glad you were able to install it yourself. They are ignition coils not injector coils. You are not working with injectors which spray gas into your cylinders, you are working with ignition coils that send electricity to spark the spark plugs.
    Good job. I always tell people not to pay mechanics for simple things that you can do yourself.

      @QuikkSilver  7 месяцев назад

      @enyelator1239 Thanks for the observation, my friend. I kept getting my terminology mixed up 😃 But yes, I agree with you 100%. Learn to do your own routine maintenance cause these mechanics will wrench your pockets whenever they get the chance.

    For your gsxr 750 your turn signal front where are they?

    • @QuikkSilver

      @HotSizzleTV_ • The front turn signals are at the base of the rear view mirror mounts.

    Have you figured out the settings? What is the ch2 twister responsible for?What kind of sound do you have when you switch to the upswing? Do you hear a sound like bbbrrruuuu?

    • @QuikkSilver
      @QuikkSilver  7 месяцев назад

      @maxdecebel All that I know is that both of these channels adjusters allow you to tweak the ignition interrupt duration. My best guess would be that channel one impacts coils 1 and 2 and channel two impacts coils 3 and 4 but don't quote me on that.
      I am not too sure I understand exactly what you mean by "upswing" though. I am supposing you mean when engaging the shift pedal? If so, yes, when engaging the shift pedal you can hear the ignition interruption. It sounds like the bike burps or farts, so to speak 😁 I hope this answers your question?

      @@QuikkSilver Have you tried rotating CH2 from stop to stop, it looks like it's a different row of cylinders?❤

    • @QuikkSilver
      @QuikkSilver  7 месяцев назад

      @maxdecebel that's what I meant. The coils correspond with the engine's cylinders. So I think channel 2 impacts cylinders 3 and 4. The technician suggested the initial settings for both channels, and they were spot on for me, so no, I have not tried further tweaking channel 2. I am curious now, I may have to look into it further and see what difference I can get by tweaking channel 2 plus or minus. Do you have the same QS?

    • @maxdecebel
      @maxdecebel 7 месяцев назад

      @@QuikkSilver I am currently in the status of choosing between qsxi and is4. I haven't bought it yet! The manager from Translogic told me that if I want a more pronounced bbbrrruuuu effect, then I need to buy iS4, since this effect is reduced in qsxi.

    • @QuikkSilver
      @QuikkSilver  7 месяцев назад

      @maxdecebel ahh, I see. Well, I think that's going to vary from bike to bike, depending on the exhaust system, too. All I have on my 750 is a Yoshimura slip-on. If I had a Brocks or M4, I am sure that burp would sound much different. But you can tweak the channels for a longer interrupt signal, which would translate in the length of the burp...it would not be ideal for speed, though. I am REALLY curious now 🤔 I just might tinker with it tonight.

    Velcro is actually a brand name. Hook and loop is the generic term for the product. Referring to hook snd loop as "Velcro" dilutes the trademark in the same manner as referring to the process of photocopying a document by using the term "Xerox".
    Sorry. That's my nerdy moment. (32.5 years of employment at the U.S. Trademark Office)
