@richardcerritelli9657 If you're doing an oil change only, you can get to the drain plug without moving the fairings. If you're replacing the filter, you'll need to pull off the left fairing.

@ericleeSupSayK Correct. That is the option that I went with. However, if you want to reinstall the heat shield, select that tab. If you are going to install an M4 GP, like I came back and did later, choose the M4 slip-on option. 🫡

@@QuikkSilver yea man If u feel that hesitation under wide open throttle that's what it is man it's also not great on the bike. But u can send the ECU back to Chris and have him tune it again also if u don't like the pops he can stop that for u if like.

​@QuikkSilver what year is the gsxr. I can check if the one I have is your year range. I had an 05 600 but I think the 600 and 750 shorty coffmans fit the same.

@@PureBlood8148 My GSX-R is a 2023. But I've noticed that 600s just naturally sound better than 750s. I think it has to do with thier higher RPM range. One of my buds has a 600 with a Voodoo shorty. That thing sounds so mean and screams like nobody's business. 😎

It is the Puig Z Racing windscreen. Its a slightly different design than the one seen here on my 750, but its still dope. I have one on my GSX-R 1K as well. @@ufcker915it sounds awesome, and it’s looks good on the bike. The can is carbon fiber and the rest is titanium. The colors are turning nicely. I’m taking it to Chris Moore on the 24th to let him flash and dyno tune.

Well, not quite. There are plenty of mechanical parts that are interchangeable between the two, but generally speaking they are two distinct machines. Now, the 600 and 750 are nearly identical, with only real difference being the engines.

Very good question. I will tell you, the 1K naturally runs hot. However, the fans should be kicking on once you hit around 219 or so. Under normal circumstances the bike is air cooled, so depending on the temperature in the environment 35 miles an hour might not be enough to keep it from runinng that high. Its normally in inner city traffic that I notice the bike hovering at higher temperatures. You might also consider flushing out the coolant that the dealer filled it with and get Engine Ice. 😎

Thank you very kindly for the feedback, Max. Now that the bike has been de-catted, it has more of a raspy growl, but still not so loud. The flash made the bike feel like a new machine. I am editing the footage for part II and hope to drop it soon. But I will do a more focussed review on how it performs now as well. I am going to look into those blackwidow headers and the smaller sprocket (and speedo accessories) as well. Great info, my friend, it is much appreciated. Be safe out there! 😎
