  • In this video, we are going to be talking about 3 habits you can implement every morning that actually work. These habits will change your state of mind immediately. They will increase your focus, creativity, and motivation. If you can win your morning, you win your day. Terrible morning routines are the biggest reasons people get subpar results in work, relationships, and even their health.
I would know, I remember a specific morning a few years ago where I woke up and I was feeling kind of lazy. So I went on my phone, I went onto RUclips shorts, my plan was to watch for a little bit until I felt like getting up, 1 hour passed, I started to feel like shit about what I was doing. Except because I already screwed up, it felt okay to keep going, like I’m already this deep, so I kept scrolling.
Hour 3 I needed to piss, so I did that, and then went into my kitchen.
Any other morning, I wouldn’t of done this, but because I was already feeling like I lost, I decided to eat some leftover dessert, it would be my breakfast, I was eating ice cream and cake, and why not some more shorts while I was eating.
The rest of the day followed suit, I kept making bad choice after bad choice, skipping my workout, procrastinating my work, and it was all a result of my morning routine, those first couple decisions I made after waking up.
Years later I figured out 3 habits that make the most difference in how I feel in the morning, the habits that make feel powerful, clear, and ready to dominate the day.
Yet people online like Alex Hormozi will say that morning routines are completely useless. I really enjoy Alex Hormozi’s content, his business advice, and a lot of his personal philosophies, but on the topic of morning routines, he missed.
He says that the time you take in the morning would be better used if you worked on your business or homework, but I believe he’s blinded by the decades of discipline he’s already built up. Most of us haven’t built 10 businesses, we haven’t generated a hundred million dollars and haven’t been working for 12 hours a day for decades,
We need a little bit of time to ground ourselves in the morning, especially since its likely that during our last decade, we haven’t been a completely disciplined Adonis warrior, who can ignore all his desires and simply work, just this perfect stoic beast.
Its more likely that we still need to work on discipline and focus, its more likely that we have a lot of potential in this area, but it pains me to see people who don’t think they do, who don’t even know they have bad habits, and even get worse and worse with their routines.
A lot of people in American colleges at-least, sleep in till 12 or 2, eat sugary cereal for breakfast, and smoke weed every single day. They think this is freedom, that they get to do what they want to do whenever they want to do it. This is what they’ve always dreamed of ever since they were a kid, this freedom that their parents restricted them from.
The problem is crappy morning habits makes people depressed, anxious, and unable to focus on the goals that will actually benefit their life. Whenever I talk to these guys, they’re usually adhd as hell, and they weren’t like that a few years ago, not like a clinical diagnosis, but adhd born out of choosing the most pleasureable possible choice, constantly, for months and years. ADHD from giving your brain weed and short-form content constantly. Its so sad to see, they can’t even hold a conversation, or if they do, its about drugs, alcohol, or some other surface level bullsh*t.
I want you to dominate your morning routine so you never end up like that, and also so you can be the role model in your social circles and family so that they don’t end up like that. I’m giving you the burden of knowing these habits and being on self-improvement, because if you don’t implement and apply these habits, the people around you will suffer.
