This got me thinking "what ARE the perks of being invisible other than the stereotypical sexual harrassment scenarios" and realize how boring I am bc my first thought was that if I were invisible I would just go sit in random university classes without paying or dealing with homeworks or being called out.
My 5'2 pregnent sister teaches pre-natal fitness, like safe pilates for pregnant and postpartum women. She currently looks like she is straight up smuggling a basketball under her shirt. She is literally _a pufferfish doing yoga,_ and it's adorable. I'm so proud of her :)
This somehow makes me want to read about a character with a hovering disability where they can't stand sit or lie on the floor/object because they're perpetually hovering at least a foot above. Can't walk, so their leg muscles are mostly atrophied. Has to propel themselves with a walking cane. Has to wear a strap to sit above a chair or sleep above a bed. Using the toilet is messy.
My younger coworker asked me if I ever have nightmares. I told her when you get older you stop having them because life is more terrifying than anything you could ever dream of and eventually you wish you would wake up from life. It got quiet after that.
Off topic.. or maybe on, I’m not sure. You have a way with words in how you convey everyday life. The nuance is at a philosophical level, with the guise of being comedy, and it is completely as well, but I think you should explore this type of conversational realm with more banal characters? Or shit at least write some poetry
