I would definitely go for this phone instead of all those expensive Samsung and IPhones. Because I only play games on my phone. I can go 2months without taking a single picture. So no matter how good a phone camera is, it’s really not my concern. All I want is a phone with insane cpu and gpu and mad cooling system. This one has it all

This emulates better than those two basically so yeah would be a better choice. Seems to run genshin better to but I know iphone does have a higher graphics setting not sure if that makes it play genshin better in reality

@chigz thanks for the review. I tried connecting my redmagic 7 to my sony 4k TV with a USB c to HDMI cable but it makes my phone freeze and restart. Can you please tell us which usn c to HDMI cable you are using? Thanks

Do we buy it or we can download ROM or ISO file from internet and just copy/past it phone?
Did you use the regular versions of dolphin google play and citra and not mmj of either? If so that would be accurate emulation which would be impressive

@@ChigzTech genuinely don’t think that Asus nor Black Shark will do anything to have made me regret the RM7 which is on its way, the only phone that I think will is the Lenovo 3 😩

Nice review but I don't have much doubts about how a gaming phone perform in gaming but a lot doubts about a global version from china if it have certified playstore ; widevine level 1 for install Netflix and others and stream in hd . any plus for the screen and sound like Dolby atmos ; Dolby vision ; hdr 10 etc .. And if the headphone jack is HiFi compatible 24 or 32 ? . last one more important is the feature for OTA firmware update in future if is available or not .. Please cover it in a future video for a glimpse in daily use of this device

S22 Ultra is a great phone, but it is known to overheat, so if you try emulation, the S22 Ultra phone will probably not perform as good as the Redmagic 7.
Can you install windows on it and play steam games?

Yes absolutely recommend it. This is currently, the worlds fastest gaming smartphone and its priced from £629. Redmagic is going in the right direction.

Does someone knows how to use investigate mode on call of duty? Because in the description of investigate mode it says that works on call of duty but I don't know how it "turn it on".

i appreciate that you tested genshin impact, but just so you know, walking around city of monstad should not consider a test for genshin. if you progress further to the latest map of inazuma, its has 1000x details that made my rog phone 3 screaming 53 degree celcius at 23fps. i really wanna know if this device can still carry it at 60 fps so i can decide to buy it or not
I really doubt it, genshin impact needs more optimization on android devices

All the review of this phone I've seen so far are showing gameplay of the very begining of Genshin Impact.
My old ROG Phoe 3 is capable of the same performance.
As you say, Inazuma is the real challenge now, in term of graphics.
I have now a ROG Phone 5S, but it can't give a smooth experience.
IF the Redmagic 7 can handle Inazuma at 60 FPS, I'll buy it. :)

I think this is the best phone so far, but still there's no phone that can exert its full potential of the GPU, this one runs 420mhz, but adreno 730 can do 818mhz. so, just imagine how powerful the GPU is at max!

You can overclock the GPU with Root and set the stock frequency to the maximum, Just imagine how Powerful this thing Will be then....
It's true Power Is unlocked, so with full frequencies It should play awesome, my Mi10T can't 6X Fifa, It stops At 3X, so with full frequencies at High resolutions should stop all stutters.
Maybe rooting can change that or no?

Man I have the S22 and it's a beautiful phone, but when it comes to emulation especially Wii or anything similar it overheats fairly quickly. Maybe I should of gone for this one instead. I just wish there was a more pocket sized version.
That’s from throttling Samsung really should be the best or one of the best choice but they choose to throttle their phones. Even oneplus and Motorola emulate better than Samsung. Although Samsung and google are some of the best androids so it does suck tho
This phone also is in a different league. It even beats iPhone which is hard to do although the emulation that iPhone can do is impressive there is no 3ds or nintendo switch or good ps2 emulator for iPhone this phone and actually really the steam deck are the best choices steam deck can emulate ps3 and Xbox handheld and cheapest price is 400 that’s insane it’s cheaper than this phone and emulates more consoles
@@robmalcolm8042 True but a steamdeck won't fit in the pocket unlike a phone. Its basically a PC.
@@deleted72636 that’s my issue with it as well. I prefer how compact androids and iPhones are which is why I prefer them more so android. I also like the convenience of its size to productivity ratio being I work and have a family now and time is limited. Barely have time for my old ps4 yet alone the switch I also have. I can take a android anywhere even the switch is too big for all that. Also why I am basically a pure emulation enthusiast at this point as well. Gave up regular console gaming.
What's ur fps meter app? And why u not using redmagic internal fps meter?
I think our fps meter app is not read the real fps in game, it just read ur fps screen out app, because it need to be root.
For example how can u get 90fps on pubg, when ur setting is hdr - extreme/ultra?

So sad that cod mobile still has that true 120fps MP ULTRA setting locked to the sony phones 165hrz on that would feel amazing MAX is truly only 60fps but the 165hrz screen and touch sampling rate still makes the game feel amazing to play.

5:35 ah...Vainglory, the best mobile moba, this game is one of the forst mobile game that support 120fps, but sadly the game is discontinued, it suppose to run smootly on redmagic 7, above 60fps abiously, 120fps for sure, but because the game is not getting anymore update, newer device like that never get the 120fps support, very sad...
But still, Vainglory is the best moba game, like ever...

The only thing better than this is the steam deck. It beats android or iPhone for emulation since it can handle ps3 and Xbox. Only thing I’d want over android and that’s sayying a lot because I usually prefer emulating on android
that call of duty gameplay wasn't even 30 fps i Don't know ehat you are doing but my red magic 5g gets 120 real fps in cod. i swear by god
