This was one of the greatest Premiere Pro videos I’ve ever seen. I watched some shortcuts videos before but they never told me the things you did in this video. As a video editor next to school, since 3 years now I think, this will gonna help me so much. Please keep going with this chanel, your team is amazing!
Amazing video, never knew about the "Activate Direct Manipulation in Program Monitor" but always looked for it. A video like this for After Effects would be amazing as well!
💯 but if you've got multiple things on screen to resize when you double click it usually doesn't know what to select. it'll select whatevers on the top layer in your timeline.
My process goes like this: While the commercials are playing I hit LIKE and then wait to be dazzled by the video. Pretty simple actually........ tHanks for the video. I've no clue as to what any of that is used for.......my videos are lacking...but I'm having fun
That effects/effects searchbar move at the end is so dope. I like it when editors pay homage to a new crazy and bold move like we're skate punks. 8:42 Respect 🤸
Gonna go activate that shortcut right now before I forget the name to resize my selection lol..too late I already forgot the name..I’ll rewind the video
the only thing that doesnt work with presets is double clicking to apply. its annoying cause it brings up the preset properties by default. 🤷♂ The shortcut still works for quickly searching for an effect. 👍
I guess it’s easier todo create a custom effects bin, the ones that you use the most, Leave that bin opened and then just use what you want whenever needed

A TON of great stuff here, but what command am I searching for to enter the search bar once I've made it to the Effects window [by default Shift+7, reprogrammed by you as F]?
@@HeavyReverb, thanks for pointing me at that. I'm a PC guy, so I think of CMD as being the CTRL key. I don't know why.....Obviously, that isn't the case. I also missed looking for 'find box' in the keyboard shortcuts window. Still so much to learn.
Do you have a tip or a tool to speed up the process when trying to make graphics follow another object ? For example you create a rectangle that outlines an apple and the apple keeps moving during the video, the usual process is moving frame by frame the rectangle. Is there a way for instance to record the movements while the video is playing ?
@@captainnoyaux I may not be understanding this. Is the apple an element or is it embedded in the video. If it’s the latter I’d probably use after effects to track it and go that route

I discover that when we do a double click on the video or anything we want to change its size it actually works without the shortcut

I hope you’ve discovered move play head to cursor. I have it set to Z and it changed my editing forever
I actually have it as a shortcut on my mouse but I think having it as a keyboard shortcut might be more useful. 👍
