They’re so good. I hope Marner never leaves, the only thing ruining this team is Dubas’s old contracts.
So many ppl sh*t on Marner but he kills penalties, blocks shots relentlessly, gets in the dirty areas for puck battles and can either set up a sick play or just snipe himself.. If Toronto were to trade him, whoever gets him is getting an amazing asset to their line up

SN should make a highlight video of Evan Bouchard and Mattias Ekholm from 2024 playoffs.
It would show how bad the LEAFS DF is in comparison, especially MO#44, wanting to go to the front line for no reason.
He's also bad at controlling the force with which he shoots the puck, so he should be a PK-only player.

Truly a magical pair, have not seen a pair like these two since Dryell and Lanny. Mitch reminds me of Pavel Bure. All these young fans dumping on Mitch, so sad that they think one man should carry a team to the top. As a fan who witnessed the last Leaf team win the cup, I tell you it would be a monumental mistake to loose an elite, magical player like Mitch. Go Leafs Go.
