They did a kickass soundtrack for William Friedkin's great dark trippy cult movie of the seventies: the Sorcerer. I didn't know these guys were still around. Thanks for this!
Thought you might like it, lol. Some of the fans of early TD don't like this band, saying it's not the real TD. Thing is, their shows are 2.5 - 3 hours long. They still played some of the older stuff but with the addition of drums, guitar, sax, flute, violin, cello and other instruments, in my opinion, they were a much more complete band.
@paulfenwick8767 The old stuff was more for eating copious amounts of LSD. And there's nothing wrong with that, fer sure. But this is accessible and rips like fuck like Trans Siberian Orchestra does. Awesome stuff here, Paul.
@@chazblitz I know what you mean, lol. First time I saw them was '74 when they were touring Phaedra. No light show, just 3 guys with keyboards, hardly any interaction with the audience. You just sat back and drifted off into a mystical journey.
This is the final encore of a 3 hour show. The guys are clearly having fun, even stony faced Edgar Froese was having a few grins. The fat kid on the keys you haven't seen before is Edgar's son, Jerome who was in the band for about 10 years. Love how Thorsten was beasting the drums also. Great song, great video and great reaction. Just one problem, this wasn't my reaction request. This was my additional reaction suggestion. My request was "Halloween Cast". We had a couple of chats and maybe I didn't get my point across/confused you with 2 Tangerine Dream songs.

Tangerine Dream is among my favorite bands, especially Force Majure.
Not the Tangerine Dream of my youth, but damn this is good stuff! Another winner, Paul!
