- I'm a vain 40-ish mom who hates living with my wrinkles and sagging skin. So I'm always looking for ways to stay looking young without spending a fortune.
I love Botox and fillers but that stuff is expensive and painful so I have been searching all over the internet for some other ways of how I can get rid of my crows feet and sagging skin.
I saw some videos for face lift bands and my wheels started turning. They look really cool, but they sell for like $30. Screw that!
So I'm thinking that maybe I can make my own DIY facelift hack myself. And that's just what I did using stuff I already had at home.

I'm a makeup artist for film movie makeup, when I went to Joe Blasco makeup center for my training they taught us this method using fishing line with tape and tied up in the hair , I love Lucy used this method. Cute!

I love your personality and how you hacked this! I am definately going to try it. If you find a way to hack hiding a double saggy chin, then please let me know! I am at a loss for that one. Even tried taping the back of my neck but the loose flab under my chin is still there ! Ugh!

Very cool! I saw another method on an Asian site just using clear surgical tape from the drugstore & a strong rubber band. Pretty much the same technology, except the tape is applied to the face.

Definitely works for a special occassion. Saw Julie Roberts on Ellen wearing a high pony tail and very taught face and could tell this method of lifting skin was defiantly inside the pony tail.
Its effective but I would worry about stretching the skin even further. Almost like if you start this, you will need to keep doing it Skin once stretched doesn't bounce back especially in the older years. But for a special occasion like once a year, why not! !!
If you’re going to do this, color the elastic band to the color of your hair . It will help hide it better

It isn't a permanent fix. It's just something to wear for the day. But if it works over time, I'd love to hear about it!

It can see a small lift. I do think it will take some practice to get the best position for the look your going for.
My concern is because I am single, to be on a date and a guy wants to touch my hair and once you take it off the face goes to its natural state and the world will see the difference. To me both scenarios would be embarrassing. Thats why I would do this.
Haha! That's true. But that would be true for alot of things like hair extensions or wigs. Just tell him don't touch the hair! 😀

If he tries to touch your hair, say, "Ouch" - i have a sensitive scalp. If you are young under the age of 40 or 50 you really don't need this. I need this cuz i am 70 now. I used to be a dancer in a bar when i was 40 and i used surgical tape and it worked real good. I like this idea better tho.
Oh, and ya know, guys are really stupid sometimes. If i would sleep with a guy and take the tape off at nite in the house with the dim light he never even noticed that my face changed! Guys are DUMB!!!

Skin grows when it's under tension. That's how they create extra skin for scar revision surgery. And that's why peoples faces sag to begin with: the constant tension produced by gravity.
so doing this actually makes the face sag more in time?
Good technique if you're patient, but I didn't need this till mid fifties for slight jowels, and at 61 I still don't want to stretch my skin as I don't have wrinkles due to a good skin line. I'd never pull my skin when it was as nice as hers is.
considering you have to do this every time you want to have that "eyebrow lifting effect"; and also the fact that the surgery to have the same results takes only 30mins. I recommend doing the surgery.
If I had the money for surgery, I would definitely consider it. This hack is for broke bitches like me. 😂

You could just use your own hair and those clips. There's no need for the rubber band.
And some Chinese dentist set if you put a rubber band around each ear fits perfectly not too tight and not to lose you'll notice a difference in one month. There is a video out
And if you wear a ponytail you could just pull it real tight

I'm not sure if I will do another video with this product. But I did get some really cheap Korean facelift tape that I'm itching to try. We'll see how that works for jowls and marionette lines!

These are great devices I actually have three different ones but they are not the same as what the doctors have in their offices! The doctors offices LED light therapy strengt is about 100 times stronger then devices that you buy in a store or online trust me I’ve done the research
