  • How was YOUR week?
These brief video clips from last week show an honest view of my life with chronic illness with its ups and downs! I've been struggling for months now with a flare-up of yeast overgrowth/candida, which is chronic for many of us with #MECFS but for me, normally controlled with a wide range of treatments. I've also been struggling for a year with treating my hypothyroidism. It was a mixed week, with some good, productive days and some run-down days. #chronicillness #MECFS #Lyme #longCOVID

It's so hard finding understanding drs and I don't think medical professionals realise how fragile we are and how one little change to them can make us so sick! I'm so glad you managed to get up in time and that it went well xx

Thanks, Beverley! Yes, these are things that healthy people take for granted. I've been fortunate to find (often by chance) such kind, compassionate doctors.

How great that your husband can handle so many of the household chores! AND he went to see Barbie with you! There is no way my husband would go see it! Even though I'm fine waiting for it to hit streaming, I can guarantee my husband will hightail it out of the room as soon as I turn it on!

ha ha He IS a good sport! Especially given his childhood trauma at being named Ken - lol. He actually enjoyed it - it's VERY smart, clever, and funny.

Hi sue , hope you feel well. What antiviral supplements do you take? I suffer from me/cfs too.

Sorry to hear you also have ME/CFS. My son and I take herbal antivirals every day - mostly olive leaf extract, l-lysine, and/or monolaurin. If we're exposed to a virus (like someone's cold or flu), we increase the amounts and/or add others. I wrote a whole blog post about it: livewithcfs.blogspot.com/2020/10/the-october-slide-mecfs-and-infectious.html

Just a quick P.S. that I answered your question and provided a link to more info. Sometimes RUclips sees links and thinks it's spam, so if it doesn't show up, just let me know!
