I endlessly admire the strength, bravery, vitality, humor, passion of this man after everything he´s been through. I must say that I am quite surprised how much I feel touched now by his dead. He wasn´t my relative, my friend, I have never seen him personaly. But I feel something special when I see him talking, something in his eyes, in his voice what makes him special, extraordinary man although he surely wasn´t perfect man. I am terribly sorry for this loss, loss for his family but also loss for all of us who has the same or similar ideals he had. I hope that his loss wasn´t useless, that although Navalny with his uniqueness could hardly be replaced, someday there will be someone who will make it and we will win ideals represented by Navalny over the evil represented by Putin and others around him. All of us could take an example of this bravery beautiful man and try to use it in our ordinary life. Every bit counts.

He couldn't. The main point of all our state propaganda against opposition for a dozen years now is "western influence". It's hard to deny that being in the west )). Putin's money poured into propaganda narratives made russian ppl extremely xenophobic, he wanted to create the need of a "strong leader, nation defender" against enemy. Putin wanted him to stay abroad, he knew he can handle him there. Navalny also knew staying safe means play into Putin's plans and didn't want to give him that. He knew his life is in danger, of course, he returned to ppl who poisoned him once after all, but maybe he thought we already would throw off Putin by now. I feel myself guilty for failing him anyway, I feel he expressed more belief in us, russian politicized part of society than action we actually provided. But now he will be an eternal avatar of my political conscience and constant reminder of the cost of staying away of the politics.

They as any other government are capable of anything. When Bin ladin was killed it was live streamed to the white house as it happened. It is not easy to talk about Nawalny without having hater comments all around. I really wish people would stop hating one another so much, so that they wish death to their enemies or even to people who have a different opinions.
This is what worries me most. Let this man rest in peace now. He fought for justice. He had big opponents. He lost.
Now let him have his peace. 🕊🕊🌹🌹🌹

I admired his bravery and commitment. I respect his decision to return to Russia, nevertheless, I believe he would have been more useful and effective working abroad. His return was a death sentence, it was a question of when would be convenient for Putin and his gov to make it happen or simply allow to happen. Still, as Assange, his spirit and work must be kept alive as both make the world of all corrupted shake. One person (with billions behind) made an entire empire tremble, let´s not forget this.

Pffft! You clearly know NOTHING about Russian domestic politics! Anyone who knows something about it will know that 1) He is NOT the good guy the West paints him to be (he has NEVER once recanted and repented for his far-right links and his racist statements against minorities, and even claimed "Cuz they are true!"), and 2) He NEVER had a chance to sit in the Kremlin to begin with (as long as most of the Russian voters are old enough to remember the 1990s - those currently in their mid 30s and up, and these will be the majority of the voters for at least the next 20 years - when they last had leaders the West liked, people like him will NEVER do well in Elections)! Plus, what makes you think the Siloviki would let someone who is too chummy with Western government officials - as indicated by his repeated visits to the US Embassy in Moscow in the past - sit in the Kremlin again (they learned their lesson from Gorbachev and Yeltsin already)? 🤣🤣🤣
