A before and after water test would be nice to see. Thanks for all you do to put your tests together! Your solar install and battery builds inspired me.
Man that really sux.... Im glad u got the blue ones I don't know anything about that brand but the blue one's i got are the big fat ones and never had a problem yet besides the pump i got from tractor supply cracking.. Keep it up brother lets us know how they work im fixing to start moving ours to the side of our bigger cabin... And get that solar up lol....
The pressure relief valves are one thing but the tubing is yours. You need tape and blue monster both. I have a similar setup. 8 in a row. You also need the white outings you can only get from geekpure. I change prints every time I change the filter. Which boring are you using
My system totally different I have one of those 40 micron and a ultra violet light and my filters are about size of a welding tank which there are two one full of carbon the other is for large particulate all of the self flush once a week but it cost about 5k 15 years ago I also have a lot of iron so I need a replacement soon lol So don't feel bad and mark it up to a learning experience Cheers and good luck.
You use several brass male / plastic female couplings. Usually it's not recommended (different temp dilatation, plastic doesn't resist shear forces on the long term). Other than that beautiful clean installation, well done!
If you are saying that that system is failure out of the box and you have that much iron in your lower right filter, no way that is just installed. If it is your water needs a spin down system better than the one you have. No filter changes in a day.
Pentair so far has been great. One o-ring was not in spec and was leaking but not continuously. I replaced it and it has been dry now for a week or so.
@@DMIINC2013 thanks homie, I’m ordering cartridge housing wholesale from China, $2-$12/ea for 20”x4.5 Can you help me figure out which one is highest quality,, I’ll hook u up too, I wanna build a 20 stage RO SYSTEM to shower 🧼 in
That makes no sense. I use step-down system. There is no best filter. I use Pentair spun from 50 u to 5 u then a kinetic kdf, then Pentair loose carbon, then lead reduction, then carbon blocks,. 1 micron nominal then I use a daulton rip 2000. I also have a uv light at the end. I like the geekpure because they are clear. This guy says he using ivertighteneing. The truth is that these are fine. Definitely need the unique ring from geekpure. Cannot get them anywhere else. That's a SHTF problem. Any pressure valve needs to be beaded and reseated after pressurization.

Gat did you do with all the old geekpure setups?
The leak you first point to is uponor and the others are pvc?
can i use express water filters with these housings?
They are fine. Need a lot of pipe tape and dope along the threads. My breeders worked

Thanks. Yes I agree with you. However this gave me opportunity to practice my plumbing skills which i will need when i build my home.
Thx for review in will go with rainfresh. geekpure is really not good .

Pentair can't be beat, great products all around just costly, but as they say buy once cry once.

what did you do with the old Geekpure housings?
I was out of return period. I trash them. Write it off as mistake.
Use blue monster dope and tape!
why you not run them in parallel
They are 4S2P
😎
Pressure relief valve get sediment in it, it must be flushed out first or it may leak, but if you keep pressing it, the sediment will bleed out.
u got bad luck. I use the hell outta these housings. No problems.
Maybe.... Thanks for watching.
Which cartridges are the biggest and the best?
Pentair Pentek.
