- Very fun lap chasing a friend in his new McLaren 650S (second time only at the nurburgring with it) and then chasing a M135i that catches up with me in Kesselchen but then slows me down in the twisty section after the Karussell.

There's something so satisfying about a Twingo keeping up with cars that appear much faster/powerful/sporty.
Does it look heavily modified though? Even so it still is funny watching a little hatchback fly past a Nissan GTR with a slower driver.

Another great lap! the speed you carry through the corners is amazing, not much can escape from you there!
Actually the corner speed displayed is not even accurate. i didn't update my datalogging with the new tire diameter from the Dunlops, so it shows a slower speed than what we actually reach (about 20-25kmh difference in Fuchsrohre for example)
But yeah, the Twingo is definitely a momemtum car, you have to carry maximum speed in the corners to get a nice lap out of it :)

I love the driving. She is not that fast on the straights so you have to make up in the corners and boy do you give those luxury cars a run for their damn money in that little Twingo!

la camera est fixée sur l'arceau. Et le HANS est interdit sur route ouverte, donc également en touristenfahrten.

Souvent integre aux chassis et retires pour alleger des auto de serie avec prepa maison car lourd
Je ne pouvais pas avoir l'arceau 8 points à temps pour rouler cette année, donc un simple 4 points fait l'affaire pr l'instant. Mais la caisse sera bientôt entièrement arceautée et soudée. Les crash box sont tjs là.

Il reste quoi de "RS" sur ta twingo ? Sinon bien piloté et bien préparé, comme quoi ceux qui se foutent de la gueule des twingos peuvent se rhabiller ^^
Techniquement, le moteur vient d'une RS, et les freins aussi. Le reste n'est qu'une amélioration logique de ce qu'il y avait niveau sièges, harnais, vitres, etc :). Mais oui, beaucoup de monde ne s'attend pas à ce qu'une petite Twingo roule fort :D
les trains roulants de la twingo RS proviennent d'une clio RS d'ancienne génération non ? Clio 2 ? Bonne machine et surtout très beau pilotage !
Ils y ressemblent mais ne sont pas exactement identiques. Après, ben c' est comme toute voiture, les économies d'échelle font que certaines pièces sont partagées avec d'autres modèles forcément.

I've never had a 182 in it. It currently has a F4R from a C3RS, tuned at 204hp. 6 speed gearbox too

même toi un avais dit a le poque 150/160ch ce qui est déjà énorme compte tenu de son poids plume.
pour preuve une r21 2 L T même origine moteur avec de bon boudin te passe devant bien menée.

Nothing done to the engine, it's a stock Clio 3 RS engine and gearbox.

Non. Swap 2.0 de Clio 3 RS + boite 6, demi arceau, combinés, baquets et harnais, etriers de M2RS, jantes en 16 et pneus Direzza pour la modifs principales.

Nice driving. Very agile car. I think this car would be deadly if you added some more horses. Maybe supercharger or something so you can pull quicker.
superchargers are good for drag racing, and it pretty much stops here. The Clio engine is good in NA setup, nothing else. For more power, it's a Megane engine...
Add a cage in your car, ASAP.
already have a half cage in it. Full cage will be built in 2018.

Got them from Demon Tweaks in UK, they are rally mirrors. No idea about road legal though.

Twingo RS? Sorry but where? It is a prototype (or a swap like you say now) with more mods and substitutions far of a real Twingo RS. It is a Prototype with the appareance of a Twingo RS. The engine for example much more powerful than in a true Twingo RS. A nice preparation and prototype sure! Congrats for that! BUT not a "Twingo RS" sorry. So call this Proto like you want, but not your "Twingo RS" alone...

Be polite little guy, you don't know me and I'm not your friend, ok. I say that I think with objectivity seeing a title which speaks about a "Twingo RS"... But where? That is a big job and a nice final prototype sure, but especially not a "Twingo RS" except if you want in the appearences. A Twingo RS is already in the base an engine 1.6L 133hp for example. And I don't speak more about the others big modifications to create this (nice) prototype... And that you like that or not, so you like or not the truth here, it is not my problem and I don't care, ok. So changement of the title with "Proto with base Twingo RS" instead of this deceptive "Twingo rs" about this nice proto 'll be a good and objective thing to present this (interesting) video. it's my (realistic) opinion and I don't care of you, OK.

Normal I'm not and I 'll not be, so be polite with person you don't know, it is better for you. After, my friends are all old scholars about motorsports and sport cars. They build prototypes too, but for a longer time that this here. But never we call such prototypes with the name of their original cars which are not for a long time. "Proto from... " if you want, 'll be better and most objective here. Because I repeat again just for you, that here is a nice prototype and sure a long and big job to build that, BUT NOT a Twingo RS in the end.
Should probably google the definition of the word prototype, this isn't a prototype, but a track-modified production car. Modifying a car also doesn't mean you have to call it something else.

Yes, but i was driving the car 20' before that lap, so even though the oil temp had gone down a bit, the engine was still pretty warm (water temp at 80° already for example) and I wasn't pushing much above 6000rpm anyway. I know this is not the absolute ideal scenario, but on weekends at the Nurburgring, if you wait in the parking lot for 20' for your oil temp to be perfect, somebody already has crashed and the track is usually closed again :(

J'aimerais bien mais je n'ai ni le budget ni le temps actuellement :(. Sans aprler du fait que je travaille aux USA maintenant et les compétitions sont beaucoup plus limitées ici niveau évènements.
