@@Nandrall18-25 well you are judging from our human standards..you could argue the Jedi rules she broke was to keep just this sort of thing from happening and her breaking the rules from the get go cause all of this to happen so adhering to the Jedi code to begin with was the right idea.
I've been having a hard time guys and watching your video has legit helped me through this stuff. Thanks so much for your humour and entertainment, love the reviews/reactions, keep it up!
That reaction when Satele says "Korriban" Haha, priceless, I love it! You guys should definitely watch the rest of these cinematics, you'll probably really enjoy them.
Star wars geek fact of the day: That jedi that goes 2v1 with the sith is Jedi master Kao Cen Darach. He held the title of battlemaster for a while, battle master title reserved for premier lightsaber combat instructor of the Jedi Order.
I love the detail in the choreography in these cinematics. If you watch malgus during the 1vs1 with kao cen darach he switches from the top side to the bottom side of the double bladed light saber while he jumps through the exploding engine to disarm the battlemaster then rotates the saber in his hand from the inverted grip to the standard grip, or kao cen darach deactivating and reactivating the double bladed saber to stab vinidican. Details like this you will never find in the disney fights, you just end up with the stuntmen having to do random twirls and spins to wait for the actors/actresses to be ready or stupid attacks or parries that would actually kill them, looking at you Last Jedi throne room fight.
Side note: Satele’s last name is Shan. She’s Bastilla and Revan’s great-grand daughter or something, and she’s got Yoda’s job as head council Jedi at the start of the game
The timeline between the videos is roughly like this: First the Sith Empire attacked Corriban, which is see in the video "Return". After that the Sith started a massive invasion of the Republic. At first the Republic get's mauled, but slowly they manage to get their act together and put up some stiff resistence, which is seen in "Hope". When the war threatens to stall, the Sith launch a daring attack on the Jedi Temple on Corrusant, which is shown in "Deceived", but while this is a serious blow to the Republic, the war still turns into a stalemate. Shortly after the two sides signed a cease fire, which held for a couple of years, turning the conflict into a cold war. Both sides know that eventually there'll be war again, but both sides feel like they aren't fully ready to reignite the war just yet. There are smaller-scale fights in the outer rim and on independant planets, there's secret black-ops stuff all over, but no bigger conflict happens in either the Sith's or Republic's core territories. And that's the situation in which you start as the player. A powderkeg about to blow up into allout war the moment one side believes they have a clear and sufficiently large advantage over their enemy to win for sure... or when something unexpected throws a spark.
nico the guy in the oat represents the smuggler class on the republic. the redhead from decieved is the rep for the bounty hunter class which is on the sith side.
Personally I'd think CD projekt RED would be an amazing choice for the STAR WARS game liscense. They've developed great story driven games with intuitive combat and are also exceptional at RPG's like the witcher 3.
The Jedi Master in this, Kao Cen Darach, was a Jedi Battle Master, trained in all 7 Lightsaber forms though he had a particular specialisation in forms 4 and 6, Ataru, the ferocity form, (think Yoda), and Niman, the jack-of-all-trades form.

They're kinda just simmilar in looks and nothing more. Malgus's character isn't at all like Vader in all other aspects. I see where you were coming from though.
@@theazureknight9399 Vader and Palpatine took a lot of inspiration from Darth Malgus actually. Vader and him are both juggernauts, are almost unmatched on the battlefield and in a duel, and are both very powerful in the force. Palpatine derived inspiration for Vader's suit from him, his most powerful force ability was INVENTED by Malgus, Palpatine just took it and vastly improved it into a more deadly and powerful incarnate of itself (Force Storm). In the end, it took a specialized strike team to take him out in the end, and suffice to say, Vader can still beat him majority of the time. But yeah, your statement not entirely true, but not entirely false either.
@@ErikaWeiss633 I was actually referring to personality, goals and moral values. Malgus is a very cunning politician and millitary leader, not to mention quite charismstic. Vader is pretty much Palpatine's mad dog, a grunt who only obeys his master and has no respect whatsoever to millitary officers who most likely have more knowledge than him regarding war and how to run an empire, torturing them for petty reasons and even force choking them to death on the spot sometimes, lol.
Vlog do Maminha Oh he did have respect...for some of them. He really did not respect the officers that got their position through connections than actual competence. He respects competency, and being a general (Albeit, not as good of a general as Malgus, given Malgus is from a far more militarized and competitive society). Also, Malgus was a warrior, not a politician. He only grew more interested in taking things over after the Sith Emperor brought and end to the First Great Galactic War. Vader, he never stopped looking for a way to overthrow his master, but he also knew that he needed his master since Palpatine is all he has left. Some reasons for killing the officers are justified, like killing that one admiral (Forgot his name) in The Empire Strikes Back when he not only stupidly jumped into the system, allowing the Rebels to detect them. He deserved that failure since he got that position through connections, not by being a good commander. Admiral Piett is among the only officers that got their position through connections to have earned Vader's respect (Which is incredibly rare af) , evidenced by him surviving having seen Vader without his helmet. In any case, you're right that their moral values, goals, and personality are completely different from one other. Vader is a broken man trying to find meaning in his existence through his studies of the Dark Side while Malgus is a warrior raised for war and was cucked from striking the killing blow by his own master. One wants to find a purpose other than being the apprentice of Palpatine while the other wants to destroy the Jedi, the Republic, and solidify the Empire's rule of the galaxy. So yeah, this is fun to discuss things. :)
@@ErikaWeiss633 Yeah, i love discussing Star Wars lore. It's so deep and well made that i always end up learning new things from civilized discussions like this one :D
I'm very passionate about Star Wars, and seeing these trailers, no matter how many times I watch them, just make me kinda sad. We don't get stuff like this today. These clips here are better then the prequel and sequel trilogies. I actually enjoy the Prequel trilogy for what it is, especially Episode 3, that film is fire. This dominates the sequel trilogy though, for sure. I got more emotion and excitement from the SWTOR trailers then I do the Sequel films. That is sad, cause these are mere minutes long, and the those films are hours long. To get so much from a short story like this says a lot.
Kao Cen Darach is the master to Satele Shan and he goes out like a true, TRUE badass. This trailer is my 2nd favorite thing in star wars next to Luke in ep6 telling the emperor that he wont turn. When he hits her with the saber throw save.... so good. the 2v1 against those two... cmon man also this trailer was done by Tim Miller's studio
Dope reaction as always guys, these trailers really are a thing of beauty🔥 so basically the guy who kills his Master is Darth Malgus and the Female Jedi is Satele Shan. In this trailer (the 1st chronologically) she’s a Padawan but by the time of the next trailer (Hope - the 1st one you watched) she’s the youngest Jedi Grandmaster ever! (Yoda’s role amongst others) The next trailer chronologically is Deceived which is dope so definitely get on that one next! Also the Guy who had dual guns is called Niko Okarr and he is a smuggler who got captured by the Republic trying to smuggle 🔥 The Trooper who knows his face in this one and previous trailer is called Jace Malcolm and he’s the commander of Havoc Squad (the Republic’s most elite force) and he actually had a kid with Satele Shan! (after these trailers) Furthermore Satele Shan is of course a descendant of Revan and Bastila Shan from KOTOR!! I’d also definitely recommend giving the actual game a run, I’d probably say it’s in its best state since launch right now both in terms of the player base and the content itself with a major expansion just around the corner in October!

In Old Republic there are various noble houses on Alderaan. But in Old Republic some houses like house Thul are asking the Empire for help for certain reasons (don't want to spoil what) So you can naturally forget no weapons, The Empire don't go anywhere without weapons xD
That guy with the hat wasn't a Bounty Hunter, he was a Smuggler (like Han Solo). Bounty Hunters (like Boba Fett) are on the Empire's side. The Republic classes are Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Republic Trooper, and Smuggler. The Empire classes are Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter, and Imperial Agent. This trailer was mostly used to showcase each of the four Republic character classes. The Imperial classes are showcased more in the Deceived trailer.
"Discount Han Solo" is actually a renowned smuggler Niko Okarr, teased in the trailers and is actually a companion mission during the knights of the fallen empire arc. but a story arc in the prologue chapters could be called discount Han Solo as you literally play as one
Can't wait for you guys to see the other ones. Eternal Throne is my favorite.....I think it's the last one chronologically :) Lots of love from Canada my guys
One thing I love is the difference in how the Jedi and Sith fight. The Jedi fighting style is smooth and technical, while the Sith fight with much more brute strength, especially the human. When he kills the master, you can see him battering the master down with punishing blows and sheer aggression.
The community needs to push an agenda for somebody to make a SW series animated like this based in the Old republic era. Follow couple of main characters. Jedi Knight perspective, Sith and maybe smuggler/bounty hunter as the neutral one. 25-30min eps. They would make billions just out of that series. The battles more epic, the lore more epic and for a 18+ audience. If only they would stop being lazy. We get this amazing content and they make a stupid amount of money. Win-Win situation
I've hit the like before watching, I knew your reaction to this are gonna be great :D P.S. there's a rumour there's gonna be a future trilogy based on the Old Republic storyline...
Finally someone who feels that way. For over 8 years now I have had people yelling at me that this game is in no way kotor3, and shouldn't even be considered part of that franchise.
The smuggler is Niko Okaar. Satele's Master is Kao Cen Darach. Darth Malgus is the Human make Sith. Blur Studios makes the trailers at an absurd amount of money per minute.
this is the first one out of 3. the first one, like some have said already is "return" (this one), then the "hope" one which you said you watched and then "Deceived", which is my favorite one.
The Old Republic MMO is still one of the best games out there. Oh and by the way this game take place like three or four hundred years after Darth Revan.
The Sith was Darth Vandican and his apprentice, soon to be darth Malgus. Malgus’ suit gives him super strength. It’s exhausting fighting Malgus. He’s a tank. Even if you block his attack, his strength still drains you.
The game takes place during one of the worst Galactic Wars in history. The Sith were thought defeated but they just rebuilt their Empire in the Unknown Regions and then came back. Alderaan is a warzone because the king is dead. There's a civil war for control of the throne, which sprang out of how Alderaan had to arm up in order to fight this war. If you like Star Wars, highly recommend the game. It is free to play
Hey, you guys are fun to watch. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I've played SWTOR for three years and still play it. Not the most up to date game, but fun.
The Sith that died is Darth Vindican, his apprentice is Darth Malgus (he's in all three Old Republic trailers). The Jedi that died is Kao-Cen Darach, his Padawan is Satele Shan (she eventually becomes Grand Master of the Jedi Order, she's also a descendant of Bastila Shan and Darth Revan). The soldier is Jace Malcolm, he and Satele Shan are both in Hope. Return takes place at the very beginning of the Great Galactic War, Hope takes place somewhere in the middle, and Deceived takes place at the end. The war lasted 28 years. Satele Shan was 18 when the war started, Darth Malgus was 19. They were 46 and 47 when the war ended. The game starts 13 years after the end of the war, so Satele is 59, and Malgus is 60.
@@JnEricsonx I know it's crazy! Imagine how many people died in 28 years of warfare. The soldier in this video, Jace Malcolm is Supreme Commander of the Republic military by the time the game starts. The game starts in 3,640 B.B.Y. or 3,608 years before The Phantom Menace. The Great Galactic war lasted from 3681 BBY to 3653 BBY. Knights of the Old Republic takes place about 300 years earlier.
All of these other trailers are just a prelude to *Sacrifice* and *Betrayed.* They're on a whole other level, containing entire narrative journeys rather than just a bunch of action pieces. That's what I'll be watching for.
Return is the first in order of how the cinematics happen. Return, Hope, and Decieved are set before the start of the game. Sacrifice and Betrayed are during the games expansions
Alderaan is basicly the seat of political power for the Republic and Darth Malgus is a Juggernaut class which is why he's so strong, the Juggernaut class is my favorite and is pure raw strength and power.
This game is way older than the Disney Star Wars deal. it's been going since 2012 I think. And it's still active to this day. It has a really good following
The events in this trailer explain all the beef that Satele Shan and the trooper guy have with Darth Malgus in the second trailer (the first one you watched.)
I am a sith and It's Darth Titus and I wear Darth Malgus's Armor and Darth Revan's mask, and I have an unstable cross guarded red black lightsaber with a gold dragon wrapping around the handle and also I'm super op with the force. I'm also Immortal which I have lived for thousands of years. Think of palps but super more op in legends and cannon and way more force powers. I'm heavily muscular also and have yellow sith eyes, I also have a lightsaber scar going downwards across my right eye as well.
If I am not mistaken, the sith attacked Adleran it was considered just as important as corescant, Alderan was a massive cultural hub and considdered the soul of the galaxy
I normally wait to the end of a video before commenting, but I had to jump in early. REACT TO ALL THE CINEMATICS. The problem with the Fallen ORder is that the protagonist has to die before Rogue One takes place. People forget that from episode 6 to episode 8, Luke was the only active Jedi(technically a Grey Jedi)/Force-user. In Episode 8 it was revealed that Luke went searching for Force-users to train. For this new protagonist or any force user active after Order 66, you have to explain why they never helped Luke fight the Emperor and why they never fought the First Order in his absence or volunteered to help him train new pupils. And if these protagonists are the "heroic" type, then the only reason why they didn't continue to play a part...is death. In other words, Fallen Order has no place to go in the future. It is standalone, and I haven't heard of any new EA star wars titles coming out after. So only three games, with two of them staining the Star Wars legacy.

He is in the game, trust me. Since his 300 year stasis, he chronologically appears in the Republic side flashpoint mission "Maelstrom Prison" where Republic players have to rescue him from his 300 year stasis, then on Empire side flashpoint "The Foundry", Empire players have to fight him to stop him from using The Foundry to annihilate the Sith Empire, which is not good at all if he succeeded, then he shows up later on in the Shadow of Revan expansion.
Edit: Oh, did I mention that The Exile herself, the main character of KOTOR 2 appears as a Force ghost in the game?
I didn't know that was his great grand kid and doesn't she BECOME grandmaster if it is the woman in the video before
@@lightknight429 Yes. Satele Shan (descended from Revan and Bastila Shan) became the Jedi Order's Grand Master. In the Return Cinematic, she has yet to become a Jedi Knight.
The Old Republic Still stands and is still popular, come join us in the Empire, My brothers!!!
For the Glory of the Great Sith Empire!
it's literally the most lucrative games of bioware right now, if it continues like that it will live long
yeah we still have a few OG's left in this game, but it sure feels like most of them left with KOTFE. I actually like to tell my guildies about the "dark" days of swtor. Back when the end of chapter boss was a frustrating fight. Back when it mattered what companion you took with you. Back when I was a squishy sage and would always tell one of the healers "Squishy go squish" Great days actually kind of miss them.
@@bigdog3628 Those were the days, feels like a life time ago.
@@bigdog3628 back in the day of CDE NIM, i'm nostalgic mow ...
Chronologically, this is the first one/the one before hope.
those are the same 3 characters from the other video. The sith Malgus, jedi Satile Shan, and soldier Jace Malcom. Satile and Jace hook up and have a kid who's in Republic Intelligence named Theron. Deceived is the next in the timeline.
I hope these characters end up being realized in a The Old Republic live action trilogy.
Yeah..most ppl dont know that the soldier there is her futures babys daddy and she kinda broke the rules by having a secret relationship( attachments and such) and got knocked up as a result..it does make her a interesting character to be sure
What Satile did was really messed up. She dumped the man she loved and abandoned her own child because it was against the rules. The Jedi are hypocrites and blind to the true nature of the Force. Sith forever!🤘
@@Nandrall18-25 well you are judging from our human standards..you could argue the Jedi rules she broke was to keep just this sort of thing from happening and her breaking the rules from the get go cause all of this to happen so adhering to the Jedi code to begin with was the right idea.
shooting real5 I don’t follow what you’re point is exactly, please clarify.
I'd love to see CD Project Red get their hands on Star Wars after EA, just imagine a Star Wars game like the Witcher 3, that be heaven!
I literally just posted a comment saying the same thing😂
That would be so insane
I am very picky when it comes to star wars, and as much as I love CDPR, I don't think they could pull that off.
@@bigdog3628 i honestly thing they could, they have the talent to definitely do so.
CDPR is not the company it used to be...something happened and I wouldnt trust them with a Star Wars game
Now I can’t wait until “Deceived”
For real when man said Korriban and the fam both leaned back in sync 😂👍🏽👌🏽🔥
I've been having a hard time guys and watching your video has legit helped me through this stuff. Thanks so much for your humour and entertainment, love the reviews/reactions, keep it up!
That reaction when Satele says "Korriban"
Haha, priceless, I love it!
I love finding new reactions to this particular video. I must have seen it over a hundred times and I still get hype watching it.
This game is still going on. It's an MMO (online roleplaying game).
My two new favorite nerds. Mad respect for the reaction
Better than Last Jedi 🤣

@@mten10th67 yeah better in every way
@@troller8680 not even a little
@@mten10th67 Better lightsaber fights, better plot, better characters. And all that achieved in way more shorter time.
The story’s in this game are effin amazing.....I love swtor
Side note: Satele’s last name is Shan.
She’s Bastilla and Revan’s great-grand daughter or something, and she’s got Yoda’s job as head council Jedi at the start of the game
The timeline between the videos is roughly like this:
First the Sith Empire attacked Corriban, which is see in the video "Return".
Norbert Sattler All of what you've said is correct, except that Korriban is spelled with a "K".
It’s moraband

nico the guy in the oat represents the smuggler class on the republic. the redhead from decieved is the rep for the bounty hunter class which is on the sith side.
I love the trailers SO MUCH. I keep watching them like everyday
Personally I'd think CD projekt RED would be an amazing choice for the STAR WARS game liscense. They've developed great story driven games with intuitive combat and are also exceptional at RPG's like the witcher 3.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh snapppp I stopped a live stream to click this notification! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 This bout to be reallll woooooooooo you man bout to witness CRUD!!
I love the fact you figured out the characters and the fact this is taking place before the other one you watched....
7:02 "He's dead"
LOL man knows how it goes when a Jedi says that.
I’m so hype to see y’all react to the next cinematic trailers
The Jedi Master in this, Kao Cen Darach, was a Jedi Battle Master, trained in all 7 Lightsaber forms though he had a particular specialisation in forms 4 and 6, Ataru, the ferocity form, (think Yoda), and Niman, the jack-of-all-trades form.
Yes this takes place before the fall of Alderan.... Yes she is VERY POWERFUL in her era one of the top 2 o 4 for sure.... Hopefully you enjoy the rest in the series of OMFG trailers SWOTOR did. In a perfect world would love to see you a much needed LP of the mmo. You would appreciate the story of your class you select ( 4 classes in the light 4 classes in the dark side) and the game has space combat. Was amazing to see your reaction to the trailer... and @JOE EA is the MOST hated publisher (which is saying alot) for that reason. 1. only about that $, all they care about is nickel and diming you with micro transactions and loot boxes. As you said REAL Star wars fans just wait til EA looses the Star Wars licence.
Yooooooooo I’ve been steady waiting for this reaction boiiiisss!!!
Meet the Darth Vader of the Old Republic: Darth Malgus.

The guy looks familiar like he plays off of runaways
Kao Cen Darach is the master to Satele Shan and he goes out like a true, TRUE badass.
This trailer is my 2nd favorite thing in star wars next to Luke in ep6 telling the emperor that he wont turn. When he hits her with the saber throw save.... so good. the 2v1 against those two... cmon man
also this trailer was done by Tim Miller's studio
I still play this game ..too much fun amazing story and the level of growth and freedom with your character is amazing.
You guys should react to the Warhammer 40K project called Astartes. So far its a 4 part mini series done by one guy. Its about 5mins long with all the parts. Its amazing if you love Sci-Fi and even more so for any Warhammer 40K fans its a must see.
Absolutely love these cinematics!!
That moment when the chair squeaked after the Jedi Master got sliced hahahahaha
Best jedi vs sith fights
Finally ! Great reaction
Can't wait for you guys to see the other ones. Eternal Throne is my favorite.....I think it's the last one chronologically :)
Lots of love from Canada my guys
12:25 You'll be happy to hear that the deal just got X'd, and Lucasfilm said they're committed to making games that are more like their old games.
Star Wars The Old Republic is still going strong.. I have been playing it since launch and there is a new expansion coming October 22nd
I've hit the like before watching, I knew your reaction to this are gonna be great :D
P.S. there's a rumour there's gonna be a future trilogy based on the Old Republic storyline...
Pleas God let it be true , and please don't let them fuck up that one

Yo thats my boy kao cen derach. The battlemaster of the jedi order and master of the future grand master of the jedis
SWTOR is free to play. It essentially KOTOR3. I highly recommend it.
Oh, finally you see this trailer. Amazing story,
this is the first one out of 3. the first one, like some have said already is "return" (this one), then the "hope" one which you said you watched and then "Deceived", which is my favorite one.
Solid reaction and discussions Gs!
The Old Republic MMO is still one of the best games out there. Oh and by the way this game take place like three or four hundred years after Darth Revan.
Can't wait for the next one, OMG!
When you get to the next trailers make sure you watch Knights of the Fallen Empire BEFORE Knights of the Eternal Throne...
Fun fact, just in case nobody else noticed... the guy that voices the smuggler is the same guy that voices Marcus Fenix from gears of war
Pretty on point questions lads!
Malgus( the guy who killed his master at the end) is my favorite Sith Lord ever
God it was great being at the NYC launch for the game, and meeting the founders of Bioware!
7:27 this happened way before darth maul vs obi wan and qui gon tho lol
Hey, you guys are fun to watch. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I've played SWTOR for three years and still play it. Not the most up to date game, but fun.
Man I can't wait until they watch Return. Return is hands down my favorite man
The Sith that died is Darth Vindican, his apprentice is Darth Malgus (he's in all three Old Republic trailers).
I did not know that. I knew the game took place about a decade after the war, but I didn't know it lasted near 30 years!
Can't wait till you watch the the rest of the trailers
Someone might have already said this. But that take place after Raven. The Girl Jedi is the a descendent of Revan and Bastila.
YES!
MORE THE OLD REPUBLIC! WE WANT MORE
also Return, Hope, and Deceived take place all before the SWTOR
All of these other trailers are just a prelude to *Sacrifice* and *Betrayed.* They're on a whole other level, containing entire narrative journeys rather than just a bunch of action pieces. That's what I'll be watching for.
Return is the first in order of how the cinematics happen. Return, Hope, and Decieved are set before the start of the game. Sacrifice and Betrayed are during the games expansions
I‘d love an Old Republic Movie in this animation style
Disney should copy this for their next Star Wars movie.
Alderaan is basicly the seat of political power for the Republic and Darth Malgus is a Juggernaut class which is why he's so strong, the Juggernaut class is my favorite and is pure raw strength and power.
Corelia more so than Alderaan
Republic: Troopers, Smugglers, Jedi Knights, and Jedi Consulars.
Empire: Bounty Hunters, Agents, Sith Warriors, and Sith Inquisitors.
This game is way older than the Disney Star Wars deal. it's been going since 2012 I think. And it's still active to this day. It has a really good following
They just found this? They'll get their minds blown when they watch the rest of the cinematics for the game. LOL
HECC YEA, BEEN WAITING ON THIS ONE ! 🔥
Betrayed and Sacrifice are my favorites
