I have 26.5 and its hard to tune lower than drop F1, drop E1 already sounds average and im getting intonation issues regardless od string gauge. I used 0.82 and did try 0.90 but i didnt like the sound. I think 27.5 scale is minimum for anythig lower than F1 or maybe using pitchshifter is a good idea. Cheers and keep grinding.

Yes it is automated via my DAW, and i think it really depends on yours. I’m using cubase so there’s pretty simple to do it under the track on the project
