Martinair B747 back in service - 1st flight

After more than 2 and half months of heavy maintenance in Jakarta and getting a fresh paint job the Boeing 747-400 of Martinair Cargo (PH-MPS) is doing its first flight again on July 2nd 2023. Destination JNB Johannesburg, MP8561. Departure runway 24

It's more then awsome and tells so much about the confidence of KLM Martiniair in this particulair machine that they peformed a full D-check including paint job. I think, with the current delays and upcoming forecast those Scarebusses won't enter service before 2027. The old rebel inside me would cheer, but I know those 747's were ending eventually. But I'm enjoying every extra month....
